Alright, I personally didn't get from the description yet on WHICH 34 guns this mod allows you to have silencers on. Is the Geist P3 included (only weapon I am here for)? Thx!
After the most recent update it doesn't appear to be working for me. The icons still show the guns as having suppressors but the guns "stats" do not, and when when deploying with them there is still no suppressor nor when stealing guns through CQC.
there hasn't been an update for the game in several months, your game just revalidated for some reason probably. the mod works fine for me maybe try reinstalling the mod or something
I have tried reinstalling it several times. My game v1.0.15.1, I'm using Snakebite v0.9.1.6, and this seems to be the only mod giving me issues. I'm using:
The Ultimate Phantom Pain Mod Angel Snake Audio Redux Bionic Arm Decal Removal Cure Asthma for Female Soldiers Disable Tutorials Essential Notifications Only TMWSTW Default Suppressors
Everything except for default suppressors seems to work properly, and again although the guns' icons all show suppressors they don't actually HAVE one weather I deploy with it, steal it via CQC, or pick up a suppressor, nor do the G44 weapons have burst fire.
Is there any other advice or should I just try to reinstall literally everything to try and get this working?
that's strange and none of those look like a problem, except maybe TUPPM. I don't have much advice if that's the case, maybe, have you tried uninstalling the default suppressors, running the game and getting to a checkpoint, and reinstalling the default suppressors? seems like a stretch but that's a really strange problem
Although I'm sure you don't really care since this is old news but I wanted to let you know I figured out what was wrong.
It was TUPPM, whenever you enable the weapon modifications for inf suppressors or durability modifiers ect, it redirects to a TUPPMEquipmentParameter file. All I had to do was essentially merge your mod with the TUPPM one, and with some minor changes it works flawlessly.
Other than the weird invisible suppressor bug, another small issue I noticed is even when collecting a gun that an enemy dropped and collecting a suppressor afterwards, it doesn't enable the use of a suppressor on the dropped gun, only when I steal one via CQC, but other than that the mod is perfect. Thanks again.?
I understand but in real life suppressors are breaking after 300 shots) So more durable suppressors are more realistic) anyway I made a hardcore game so it's far from being easy)
Extract contents of Default Suppressors.mgsv using 7zip/winrar to your desktop
Navigate to Default Suppressors/Assets/tpp/level_asset/weapon/ParameterTables/parts
Open EquipParameters.lua in Notepad++
Ctrl+F and search for muzzleOption
You will be greeted with settings for all the muzzle attachments in the game. The M0_XXXXX is the parts number
TppEquip.MO_1XXXX are the Pistol Muzzles TppEquip.MO_2XXXX are the SMG Muzzles etc....
Now to explain the number system
e.g. {TppEquip.MO_10101,1,15,1}
Yellow = Shot Grouping(accuracy/recoil dampening) Blue = Durability(# of shots) Red = Does the muzzle silence your shots
Yellow A value of 1 means that the muzzle attachment will not affect accuracy. All suppressors have a value of 1 for shot grouping. Numbers under 1 mean that the attachment is a Muzzle Break and NOT a silencer. All muzzle breaks have a value of <1 for shot grouping. The closer the number is to 0 the lower the bullet spread.
Blue Values of -1 mean that the silencer will be infinite. In the vanilla game, Level 1 silencers have 15 shot durability, Level 2 30 shots, Level 3 60 shots and Level 4 Infinite Personally, I changed all my Level 1 to have 30 shot durability, Level 2 45 shots, Level 3 90 shots and Level 4 Infinite
Red All silencers have a value of 1 All muzzle breaks have a value of 0 because they do not silence your weapon
If you want every silencer in the game to be infinite, change the Blue number of every line where the Red number is 1 to -1
e.g. {TppEquip.MO_10101,1,-1,1}
Save the changes you made in Notepad++
Open Snakebite and press Mods in the Main Menu, then got to File in the top bar and choose "Launch Makebite"
Point Makebite to the Default Suppressors folder on your desktop
Change the Name, Author, Description, etc if you want to
Click "Build Mod", point Makebite to where you want to save the .mgsv file

Woah, woah, WHAT? This makes NPCs in the field use weapons with suppressors? That sounds....AMAZING. Seriously, attempting OSP has always been hamstrung by the fact that you can't find suppressed weapons in the field, meaning that OSP in practice just amounts to "CQC only."
May be you could also propose the opposite : no silencer on tier1 starting weapons. May be less coherent (a spec ops agent going on mission with full noisy stuff even at start) but more interesting as gameplay balance (player will have to invest for stealth approach). Well, i know thats a bit minor, knowing that will be upgraded just after the tutorial, but that could be interesting to have a mod doing this.

So... can you do that, please?)

Is it possible that you can make all weapons have infinite suppressors?
Sorry for my english

This sounds great! Will be trying it.
