Can honestly say, in all my years playing games with mods...  This may be the first time endorsing any mod, this mod helped me in the creation of my first mod shared here on Nexus..

Hello, can anyone help me transfer the textures from Ground zeroes to add to the Guantanamo map in phantom pain? I downloaded this File Monolith, but when I open it I don't have any idea where to go for the "input and output" file locations, if anyone has a chance I'd greatly appreciate it, thank you.

By default, Steam will install Ground Zeroes to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes" and Phantom Pain to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MGS_TPP"

There should be a MgsGroundZeroes.exe and a mgsvtpp.exe in both of those folders. Select those for the tool to discover the archives, and then click the Transfer Archives button and wait for the process to complete.

Thank you, and I appreciate your donation but I've refunded it. Please offer it to CapLagRobin instead, for his work on porting the Guantanamo map

Okay, I'll do that, thanks again
  3. Got error message: "An error has occurred when attempting to transfer data: The specified path, file name, or both are too long. The fully qualified file name must be less then 260 characters, and the directory name must be less than 248 characters."

Moving File Monolith folder to desktop fixed it.

My Archive Transfer worked flawlessly on GS to TPP. Using Rog Ally with only one drive. No errors either!

The ArchiveTransferrer is broken on my side while I was trying to transfer GZ stuff to TPP, displaying the error message below.
An error occurred while attempting to transfer data:
Unable to cast object of type 'System.String' to type 'System.Exception'.
I ran it as admin multiple times, tried moving the tool closer to the MGS folders, and shuffled the files to no avail.
    Any help?

i just had a hell of a time getting the archive trasferrer to work to install that GZ mod, and boy the only thing that got it to work was to not even install it on the drive the games were on (The main C: drive). I always ran it as administrator. I put it on another drive and it worked instantly

had weird experience. archive transfer gave me an error message("ground zeroes" unable to cast object of type...) and i'm sure that I ran it as admin. because i did it for sevral times. then it just works after I moved tool folder to D\:MGS5MODS\02_TOOS to D:/MGS5MODS. it moved up by one floor. I did everything same  before. but only location of folder was moved. Maybe there is possibility to some errors be occrred if the tool's fild directory is too "deep"

hope this helps someone dealing with same problem.

Had an issue with path/file name length, but this fixed it for me:

Got error message: "An error has occurred when attempting to transfer data: The specified path, file name, or both are too long. The fully qualified file name must be less then 260 characters, and the directory name must be less than 248 characters."

This had nothing to do with the game paths! The path "ArchiveTransferrer.exe" was in was too long. Extracting the File Management Tools directly to c:\ solved the problem.

Hi, I am trying to transfer data from Ground Zeroes to Phantom Pain with the Archive Transferrer tool, but it doesn't work. Instead, after what appears to be a successful data transfer, it suddenly crashes and displays a pop-up with the following text:

An error occurred while attempting to transfer data: The specified path or file name (or both) are too long. The full file name must be less than 260 characters and the directory name must be less than 248.

I didn't rename anything and all folder names remain the same. I also have updated IH to the latest version. Could you provide some help, please?
    Thank you very much!

The text is in spanish, I translated it for you in the post.
