very cool to see! I wish it could be a realtime UI element like MGS3, but I'm assuming that's a whole different challenge.

It does, you just have to do the manual install:
"-Place the cbpCamoIndex.lua file in Infinite Heaven's modules folder (.\Steam\steamapps\common\MGS_TPP\mod\modules) and start the game."

I was wondering if anyone who mods could help me make this work with another mod. It changes the camo values to actually make sense for where you are and hide you better, (Mod). I got it to work with the one version, which just increased values, but when I use the set of values with negatives, being more visible, it doesn't work. It may be that there's a part of the code that checks to make sure the values can't be below zero, but the mod already gives negatives ci values, so I'm not sure

Great mod, but it conflicts with The Ultimate Phantom Pain Mod (Tpp.lua and TppMain.lua). Can I just merge the code from this mod into TUPPM's files? Is that a thing?

Ah dang it, I just tried and it's not as straightforward as I hoped it'd be :( Maybe someone smarter than me can chime in but I don't think these two can work together. Bummer!

not really that camo mod has a special .lua increasing the value for each fatigue and this mod is only set to calculate the vanilla values from the OG .lua(the one that camo's overhaul replace's ) so no it wont show YOUR increased .lua its only going to show % as if you still have the vanilla camovalue.lua

I'm not using snakebite (yet), but im just confused as to where to pack this script into.
I know people mention TPP.main.lua but I don't see that anywhere just a master folder and mgo folder, in the master, there's dozens of .dat files and 0 and 1 folder, each with their own .dat's and scripts inside
(i'm using QAR tool to look inside and see what and where to add)
I just want to make sure it pack this into the right area

Infinite Heaven users: as of r199 you no longer need to edit any files to get these two mods working. Just add the main camo index lua file to inf's modules folder. Check the description if you're not sure what I'm talking about.

Yes, I'm still working on this. r2 has some bug fixes and new additions, I'm just trying to find what's causing a bug with stealth camo before release.

So like a spreadsheet that calculates camo index based on values that you input? I can probably do something that. I'll give writing a function script for Google Sheets to use a shot and let you know when I get it working.
