This mod changes the color scheme of Afghanistan, Mother Base, Central Africa and even the Sortie Prep Menu without the use of a ReShade preset. In version 1.3, there are 4 different types to choose from:
- Vibrant - This variation is most similar to the colors and saturation of the previous ICBINR, version 1.2. Deep blue oceans of Mother Base, rich yellow Afghanistan terrain, strong green African foliage.
- Pale - loosely inspired by the 2013/2014 promotional trailers, this ICBINR is characterized by white sunlight and desaturated atmospheres in Afghanistan, Africa and Mother Base.
- High Contrast - These are vanilla filters with slight contrast adjustments- the colors, lights and shadows are stronger.
- Goldilocks - Blending the other variations together for milder, less opinionated filters on Afghanistan, Africa and Mother Base.
In addition, there are now 3 different types of contrasts to choose from:
- Default - Close to the contrast levels of the base game, only a little darker. Visibility at night is close to vanilla gameplay.
- Heavy - The levels are kicked up for deeper contrasts. It's darker than vanilla, so it might affect your gameplay depending on your monitor.
- Extreme - The contrast levels are even deeper. This will have the darkest shadows, so it will be difficult to see at night without NVGs.
This mod is installed the same way you'd install any other Snakebite mod. There's no ReShade involved in the installation. You can even use a Reshade preset on top of this mod, but results may vary. Some ReShades, such as 4Y4N's GFX MOD, are even built with ICBINR in mind!
This mod can be installed manually or via SnakeBite Mod Manager - [SBWM]
For manual installation, extract the files from the .mgsv using WinRar or 7Zip. Then, unpack your chunk0.dat, and merge the contents with the unpacked chunk0 folder.
