uninstalled through snakebite but avatar character is still unlocked will this mess up my game files and prevent me from having a safe save aswell as access to FOB?
cool i installed the mod my game broke i built it i out in the mgsv files i tried all vairations and i validated my game files like an idit and now i gotta reinstall all my mods
It took me a while but I was able to fix it. It is pretty simple actually. If you extract the downloaded compressed file and try to install via mgsv file it won't work, it will say that your version is not compatible (version 1.0.7.1), neither if you try to install directly through zip archive (it will result in an infinite startup load). A fix is to remove from zip archive the files you don't actually need and install through "Install .ZIP" option in Snakebite.
For an example, I don't have the mods "Stable Mods Compilation" nor "Infinite Heaven", so I only need the file "Unlock Avatar.mgsv" and the folder "Unlock Avatar", the rest of files must be removed from the zip.
So...I decided to make the change in the script manually and it wasn't a problem, i did it. The thing is I'm on 1.10 and it doesn't work for some reason :B I'm on a new game btw. I'm doing something wrong?
The unlock works as it should but my online avatar is african american. What happens is that the face/neck (can't see the other parts yet) changes to my Avatars but the arm doesn´t.
So my african american avatar in story has Snake's white arm... lol...
in snakebite or manual. u need 7zip or winRAR. u can get 7zip here https://www.7-zip.org/ and winRAR here https://www.rarlab.com/download.htm u dont need both
using snakebite mod manager, unzip the zip file, delete the 2 heaven and the other mod's files and keep the base avatar changer mod. inside snakebite simply install the UnlockAvatar.mgsv file. That's it!
Just so you know, the "issues" like not being able to do the Visit Quiet side-op as the Avatar is behaviour scripted into the game, not a bug relating to the mod. You can only visit her when you're playing as Venom Snake.
