I've played the hardcore mod and the implementation of your ammo count was my favourite part I think, so thanks for making it. I've had issues with hardcore mod, not technical but just the nature of new stats, length of injury recovery etc. I would very much like to use your mod but cannot handle QAR and all that jazz very well. I was wandering, would you be so kind and compile a snakebite friendly mod? That would be great, I think QAR modding and opening files deter a lot of people from using otherwise some excellent mods, your included. Thanks either way! m.
Ok, this is weird. The level_asset folder doesn't exist when I unpack with Qar tool. Am I doing something wrong? Up until now I only used snakebite mods, so the mistake could very well be on my part. Help would be appreciated though :\
Also, why isn't the water pistol on the list? At the current rate the 2 mags aren't even enough to stagger the man on fire once. Not saying it should be infinite but considering it's very small use in the game it wouldn't be too much of a balance issue to at least give it 4 mags.
Hello, about the man on fire, you can beat him without using a single ammunation, look at my No trave video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeHvZUnU1M8&list=PLJ68C3jRJ7u8yX0AzHT1H1_SsPj7ZnYuv&index=24
About the QAR Tool, I'm not an expert. Basically I just drag the 00.dat in the QAR tool.exe Then I open the folder and search after the correct files Replace the file Repack the 00 folder
NB: This mod is now included inside the HARDCORE MOD (Snakebite version)
If you are talking about infinity suppressor mod, it's not compatible since my mod change the same file as infinity mod does. + If you drecrease your ammo amount, why using infinity suppressor ?
Perhaps I am using the QAR tool incorrectly so I'll just give you my step by step process...:
1. I drag the 00.dat file onto QAR 2. I replace the EquipParameters.lua in "00\Assets\tpp\level_asset\weapon\ParameterTables\parts" with your file 3. I drag the 00.setup inf file onto QAR and then put the new 00.dat file back into it's proper place.
But it does accept TPP Hardcore changes. So I'm thinking that since your file just overwrites the TPP Hardcore file, shouldn't it logically treat it the same as the TPP Hardcore?
For now I'll have to play without the mod till I can find out what I'm doing wrong...

Replace the file
Repack the 00 folder

2 mags are pretty enough
Unpacked it using QAR, replaced the file, repacked it, went into MGSV and I'm still getting the same ammo amounts.
I'm using the snakebite version of TPP Hardcore + Infinity mod.

Am I missing a step here?
Maybe infinite heaven change the same file as my mod does ?
