Is it possible to get a snakebit version of this? I tried to convert it with makebite. But ingame I see the old textures in almost every angle. Sometimes the new texture is visible.
Hey man, I was wondering if you could make a separate texture mod for the MOLOTOK-68 Sniper rifle. I am not a fan of the yellow paint job... I was wondering if you could make it dark grey. Not totally black, just a dark grey color... I worked hard to get it and now I have it, it looks stupid.... You can't customize the rifle, thats why I am asking.
Amazing mod! Can you please please turn this into a Snakebite compatible file for install? Because once you use snakebite, you can't install non-snake bite mods since it changes the structure of the 00.dat.
Hi! I want to install this mod, but whenever i look into my folder that i made with the qar tool i can't find the "fova" file in "collectibles". Can you help me?
Do you use snakebite for other mods? I think the problem is that snakebite moves non snakebite files from 00.dat to 01.dat. I found the right folders in 01.dat but haven't tested yet wether this texture mod will actually activate.
EDIT: I can confirm the mod works. Unpack the 01.dat file and you will find the correct path there.
With 2 of the skins, the black/orange lava skin and the very bright red/yellow/black camo. When I deploy, what appears on the gun is the old camo. However if you zoom in the custom skin suddenly appears. I have to zoom in very close, by standing next to a wall and moving the camera into the wall, forcing it to move closer to the character. It seems like the rest of skins work fine though (haven't tested them all yet). I can recreate this bug when selecting the weapon in loadout. Zoomed out = old camo, zoomed in = new.
Also, the first time I customized weapons after installing this mod, when I went back to ACC the game crashed (runtime error). Since then I haven't recreated the error it so far.
I have other mods, but the only aesthetic ones are your vehicle mod and the Multi Quiet Player mod, which only uses Chunk0.dat Additionally, that mod should only affect female DD soldiers, but the same bug (wrong skin) appears whether I play as Quiet or Snake. Any suggestions?
I cannot find that folder at all on my Steam folder I got to the MGS_TPP folder and I cannot find the file that I need to replace could someone give me a hand here pls
You are looking for texture0.dat and 00.dat, both of these are archived folders, so to open them you need something called the QAR tool. Watch this video carefully to learn how to use it. Also update your dictionary.txt like the video shows.

texture0.dat is in MGS_TPP / master and 00.dat is in a folder called "0" in master.
