To convert a ftex to a dds file you need all the ftexs associated with the ftex.
To get the MGS 3 Fatigues .dds, you'll have to unpack the 58f57ad81e45.pftxs (located in 00.dat) . There you'll find a 33ad24f73cd73.ftex and a 33ad24f73cd73.1.ftexs.
But you have to unpack the 01.dat to get two others ftexs, with the exact same name as the ftex and ftexs located in 58f57ad81e45.pftxs or c05ddadd3a9a.pftxs (located in 00.dat) .
Indeed if you unpack the 01.dat with Qar, you'll find a 33ad24f73cd73.2.ftexs and a 33ad24f73cd73.3.ftexs. So copy in a new folder the 33ad24f73cd73.ftex and 33ad24f73cd73.1.ftexs (located in 58f57ad81e45.pftxs (located in 00.dat) . ) but also the 33ad24f73cd73.2.ftexs and 33ad24f73cd73.3.ftexs.
Then drag the 33ad24f73cd73.ftex in FtexTool.exe. You'll get the .dds , edit with photoshop or gimp. Once done, save as DDS.
And then use the command prompt "FtexTool.exe -f 3 33ad24f73cd73.dds".
REPLACE 33ad24f73cd73.ftex and 33ad24f73cd73.1.ftexs in c05ddadd3a9a.pftxs and in 58f57ad81e45.pftxs (in 00 folder), the 2.ftexs and 3.ftexs in 01 folder REPACK with QAR TOOL.

I know this is really old but can I make a request? Could you make the Cold War's reds into orange like in mgs3? I know this is old but it would make me really happy. Thanks either way
I'm sure you've been asked this, but can you do a SnakeBite version? I absolutely love Olive Drab's look, but I can't install it. I'm new to MGSV modding and so far I only know how to use SnakeBite.
