Step 2 Drag the 00.dat to QAR tool as it will unpack the file
Step 3 Run Shigu's Framework bat
If It Does Not Work Try This!
Step 4 Unpack the 00.dat files again by dragging it over to QAR Tool
Step 5 Go Inside 00.dat file
Step 6 Put The TppPlayer2InitializeScript Inside - /Assets/tpp/level_asset/chara/player/game_object/
Step 7 Put TppCamera.lua Inside - /Assets/tpp/script/lib/Tpp
Step 8 Get back to where i told you to place all shigu's files in 0 at \MGS_TPP\master\0
Step 9 Run the Shigu's framework bat, as it will repack the 00.dat file
Step 10 Run the shigu's framework bat again
You're done now test MGSV and see if it works, thats only how i got this working anyway try this method if you can't seem to make the bat find the Tpp.lua or TppCamera.lua, after doing all of those steps it will be able to find the files inside 0 without it have to be unpacked
If you want MGS3 cam, I recommend to use the MGSV Beta Camera, and Use the FOV Cameramod
This worked! Thank you so much for the instructions and thanks to the mod author. I was about 10 hours into the game and I could see it had tons of potential but the camera was detracting in a big way from the experience. Now the two biggest complaints I had - the camera orientation being too close, and the weird CQC camera - are both fixed! I use the MGSPW camera preset and I especially appreciate that it doesn't zoom in when you crouch. I feel like I can now fully enjoy this great game! (FYI, I don't have Infinite Heaven, just Snakebite for the no CQC cam and followed the above instructions for the camera framework)
If you want it to be the latest, Open the MGSV file inside 1.0 version and replace the TppCamera.lua with Version 2.0 TppCamera.lua then click on yes for letting the archive to save and then put the MGSV file into the snakebite
The mod/framework seems to lack some camera definitions. If I use a custom camera while in the ACC, it is positioned wrong (looks like it is positioned at the defined distance, but the Vector3 is at 0,0,0) and some menus like the Customization menu are slighty broken (but not unuseable). Seems like those menus have a specific background level somewhere within the ACC level, where the camera is just being moved to.
Also, the offset and distance definition for climbing is missing. Another missing parameter might be something along the lines of _rotationLimitMinY and _rotationLimitMaxY, since custom cams allow you to rotate the camera while being in the Helicopter instead of being restricted.
In addition to the wonky ACC cam, it seems that mounting a Walker Gear also has some problems. Aiming with the main weapon pushes the camera into the cockpit and this can cause the weapon to fire improperly (weird). There's probably a few conditionals that would fix the ACC and Walker Gear bugs, but that horse slow-zoom will be more difficult. Once I get those kinks worked out I think I'll publish a personal preset.
edit: to answer your question, the mod author found the playerstatus by opening the .exe and reading through the strings (the only stuff that isn't jibberish)
Also, is it possible to get a permanent version of the camera when you aim with your weapon? Or maybe just a bit further away? LUA is not my kind of coding language (yet) and working with offsets is a headache for me. I can try to figure it out, tho.
If I could get an updated file that works with snakebite I would be so happy. I just used the search to find this mod and it no longer works for snakebite. I tried installing it twice. It just does the loading symbol for a long time and never gets to the Konami screens at start up. After 5 mins the loading icons go away and it just hangs on a black screen I really cant stand how close the camera is in single player. The camera from this mods looks great in the screen shots.

How did the author figure out all those values?

Also while I was working on it I learned how to add shake parameters. preliminary tests are funny:
When I get it figured out I'll be done
Wouldn't have figured that out in ages.
