Is it possible to make CQC make noise except the choke, or make the kicking of a downed enemy silent? I'm just looking for in world consistency, preferably by having the CQC be loud except for the choking.

I understand this might be very different to mod, then the no wind noise

I would be greatly thankful if you could remove Raiden electric running sound

Any way you might be able to do a merge for silencing Quiet's humming as well? Or modify these audio switches to be toggled with Infinite Heaven?

Perhaps the Be Quiet mod could be used as a sort of template to add the options to Infinite Heaven...

Haha, to be honest I don't like using Quiet, I think her naked breathing through her skin thing is cringe.

Maybe I will in the future? But for now somebody else will have to merge it if they want.

can you also make a mod that replaces the  bullet hit sounds on enemies into something more subtle and realistic?

Maybe next time. Somehow, the audio that I make after repacking the files becomes either silent or corrupted. I don't know why, I'm trying to figure it out.

      Mithras, have you read this:
      https://metalgearmodding.fandom.com/wiki/How_to_add_custom_sounds_to_MGSV_The_Phantom_Pain

Particularly the step 3, which I think it might be where your problem is.

Yes I have read it, thank you.
Finding the sound files to replace isn't the issue, it's converting custom sound files to wem that MGSV can read.
The MGS1 prep music actually came from another mod, I wanted to make my own but the custom music and other sounds I keep making are either silent or sound corrupted in game, but sounds fine when you play it via foobar.

EDIT: Actually you know what, after rereading it I think I'll try Audacity. I've been using GoldWave to convert my files.

I recommend adding a version that also mutes the wind sprinting noise, which is very annoying and it's also located on the same soundbank.

This mod provides the asset, you just have to add it:

    Wind noise silencer

Thank you for this. Well, since you asked I'll do this as well for completion's sake and for others as well.

EDIT: Wow. Wish I knew about this tool, I was using a different one. This makes it easier.

The separate file they included seems to replace the wrong sound file.
