Great mod! Is there a way to edit which command shortcuts are used or only install specific commands of it? I'd rather keep the Call+Stance combination to make Quiet move to custom markers, and I can't figure out if that's possible with this mod installed. I don't particularly intend on using the friendly soldier command anyway.
After installing it, you can manually edit the command shortcuts by editing the file InfQuickMenuDefs_User.lua. You can edit lua files with any text editor, but it is recommended to use Notepad++, which is free.
It is located here: Steam>steamapps>common>MGS_TPP>mod>modules>InfQuickMenuDefs_User.lua
You can remove functions you don't want and you can also change their activation keys. I just don't remember right now the name of the function you mentioned, so you just have to copy it from whatever source you have and paste it in place of the function you want to replace.
Amazing mod, life changing when you just want to mess around and have fun with stealth gameplay. Really removes the annoying part of marking ennemies because it gets boring after a while, and allows you to plan your attack knowing everyone's position. Make my game way funnier thank you
Glad you enjoyed it! Spoiler: Sounds good at first but later I reverted back to scouting and marking. Now I don't use it anymore and don't even use D-Dog or noctocyanin.
Just 1 question please. How do we lower the radius of the mark? Smaller zone would be good in order to get helicopter back faster. This mod does not only remove the helicopter landing zone icons. It also removes the marks for blueprints/high level soldiers and diamonds Thanks for the mod
Thanks for the response. Yeah it does come with a lot of disadvantages when it breaks so many features but it also helps in finding the 6 prisoners in mission 9 lol. If you ever do work on it again though, could you please look into having it mark containers/weapon placements the same way it does vehicles? or maybe an option for the blueprints. Just thinking it could negate what it breaks by creating options for it.
I understand it can be confusing but this case could be solved by reading the mod description: The only one you need to install is Shoot Through Walls, as it already contains No Wobbling, Enhanced Quiet and Enhanced Accuracy.
why can't we use Auto-mark enemy vehicles in Africa?
It causes a bug that I don't know the reason nor how to fix. You can use, but you'll have the problems that I described in the mission "Traitor's Caravan"
For some reason, the game treats the player position as a point in Kiziba Camp. For that reason, the head markers are not shown when you are actually far from that position. If you ask for supply drops you'll also notice that you can only ask them in the proximities of that position, not your actual position.
At first I thought it was a case of the script overwhelming the number of markers, but after I noticed this position bug I have no idea.

As much as I love your mod, it's very confusing.
I already choose the basic version of these mod, but it still conflict with each other.
