I would've gotten this, if it wasn't for the fact that I can't even use IH on the jack sparrow game I have.
Is there a possibility to make a mod that just removes blood effects altogether in general? That way you don't have to resort to having a shower constantly in the first place.
showering also restores health, hygine and reflex timer and also your guard doesn't look as tired on staff screen but yeah i get what u mean, that ketchup s#*! is annoying and wish it was an optional feature. in ground zeroes there was no blood on snake
@Spicereddragon Oh I see. I never knew what it exactly did. It does say physically and mentally refreshed, but I never looked into what it actually benefitted. But still it wasn't very easy to access showers to be refreshed or portable toilets if you gotten those kinds of mods. That's why I wished for removal of blood since I only ever shower to get rid of that stuff. It looks really bad on my character, no matter who I'm playing as. Snake, DD soldier, or even Quiet with mod. it's just an eye sore with all that blood caked on their face or even on their naked bodies. It's like a reenactment of Carrie. Also I never knew that GZ Snake never gotten blood on him. I thought it was an addition to all of MG5 in general. But yeah that's pretty bad. I still remember the days of old MGS aka 1-4 where there wasn't any of that crap at all in general. I mean speaking of Ketchup, that's the only thing that imitated blood in MGS 1 lol. This whole "trying to be more realistic as possible" really didn't do us much favors. Also I never knew that GZ Snake never gotten blood on him. I thought it was an addition to all of MG5 in general. I can't say for sure, I don't think it will, but if you're worried about that you could try reinstalling the game using the folder structure I provided. All the options provided by Infinite Heaven are worth the effort.

Update: Thankfully after changing the name of the folder, it still worked. Thank god it didn't break my game, cuz reinstalling everything would've been a b*tch.
Well I got the files like you told me, but I have no idea how to apply the IHExt. I downloaded it as a zip (IHExt-master), but it doesn't provide me with any instructions. The site, the readme file. They all tell me nothing. I thought I could guess/figure it out myself from the IH folder structure if I was supposed to just drag the files there, but nope. I can't get any bearing with this. Mind if you could tell me what I'm supposed to do with the IHExt?
Close the game. Now Copy the file IHExt.exe to Steam > steamapps > common > MGS_TPP > mod
Now Open the game (IIhext should automatically open when you open the game). You'll have to change the game to full screen windowed mode on the graphic settings.
Now you hold the Spacebar and you should receive some written instructions about how to activate Ihext, if it doesn't open by itself.
Don't give up, you're almost there, if you have any other doubts you can ask here.
So I gotta apply the mod first? Well, I tried that, but it didn't work. When I start the game, it just shows a log of "Development Requirements Met [None]" twice and then it just gets stuck in a black screen. Doesn't load up the logos or anything. So I tried uninstalling and see if it works then (since I was still afraid about the whole renaming folder thing) and yep it does. So I tried installing it again, but nope. Also, I don't know where to get the IHExt.exe. There was none in that github thing. No .exe. So I was wondering where am I supposed to get that exe. No matter how many times I checked that Github, nothing. So then I decided to check the mod folder and sure enough, there was already one in the mod folder. According to the site, the IH already comes with one apparently. And yet it still doesn't help me at all. So I tried to restore the backup (because I have no way to revalidate due to it being crack so I cannot use Steam), which erased all the mods because I thought maybe that those were what conflicted me. It even stated in the instructions text files that I should try starting from scratch. So I did and then I tried to re-apply IH again. Nope. Still nope. I even just tried r254. Still the same problem.
So I'm guessing either the Snakebite or IH versions I got were wrong. Or it might even be the cracked game that I've gotten.

And FYI, when I was setting up the Snakebite, it was giving me a warning that my game data's filesize is unexpected and is already modified or predates game version 1.0.15.3. Also, I can't even start/launch the game through Snakbite for some reason. Whenever I press the Start Game or even Launch Game, those options/buttons don't work for me. All this time, I always had to just simply use the game's own exe file to run the game after installing mods. Idk if it's just me or other people have the same problem. Or again, it might be the cracked game... Either way, it really doesn't look like it's gonna work out for me. But honestly, I don't really count it as that much of a loss. The only thing I would be missing out on is the replayability of missions as well as the Huey mod, Diamond girls mod, blackrock's wep zeta pack, and this. Cause in all seriousness, I'm just honesty thankful that (any of) the mods even work for me at all since Snakebite does give a notice when using the setup wizard that it's not compatible with pirated copies, so I was worried at the start of this whole MGS5 modding scene that I might not be able to mod at all. Therefore, I should really count my blessings that at the very least, that the more important and higher priority mods like your weapons mods and Playable Quiet and the NSFW mods are still usable even outside of I(nner)Heaven. Guess I'm truly a denizen of "Outer" Heaven lol. So no biggie. But thanks for trying anyways, man. Appreciate the thought and effort.

Yeah I did. And don't feel bad, man. You were just trying to help. And that's the nature of the beast that is modding right? Especially for cracked versions. I'm going through same troubles of trying to apply mods for RE4 too. So I know how this all goes. You just gotta hope for the best and try the best you can in order to make the mods work. Like you said about IH, it was worth the effort in trying, right?

Hm... I'm not too fond of repacks ever since I heard they can wear and tear your HDD faster. I used to use Fitgirl stuff until I heard that.

I know it is possible and I think it is simple to achieve, but I don't know how to do it. I know that some modded outfits have this as a problem: they don't show blood properly.
By the way, I know there's at least one mod here that removes the blood from the faces.

Because I'm guessing it might conflict with the other visual mods like the Playable Quiet mod or New Female Faces/Hairs or the Makeup for Females. Cuz even the new female faces mod caused the model to be disjointed at the collar bone. And I'm not sure if blood is merely painted onto different model variations (sort of like how people said that Quiet's panties are painted on her model) or it is actually a separate visual file. Idk which would be worse. Bloodfest carrie style or having disjointed body parts and possibly even breaking the quiet mod and it reverting back to Snake.

Yeah, If you're doing it with the method I'm thinking (which would be to remove the specific files from the outfits) it probably will conflict with outfits. The best way you could do it was to find the files yourself and remove them from the outfits you use by unpacking the mods you use (you just have to rename the .mgsv extension to .rar or .zip and extract them normally, then you have to use makebite [which comes with snakebite] to regenerate them after making the changes).
Unpacking the mod that removes blood from the faces would provide some clues about which files you would have to remove and where they are located.
There's also a more elegant method which would be to find the blood function in the game and somehow inactivate it, but that is a level of knowledge that I'm not even close of getting. Bob Dole, Captain Lag Robin and Tin Man Tex are some guys that know this stuff.
Btw, this might be out of your expertise, but do you happen to know anything about how the game gets stuck in certain parts of the game like certain maps/missions? I was playing the Backup, Back down mission and for some reason I kept lagging. Like the audio kept playing in background, but sometimes the game just gets stuck. I can pause the game and reset back to checkpoint or something like that. But it doesn't load up the settings menus. And when the game gets running again, I open the idroid, it doesn't load the map. I tried googling the issue and solution and it seemed like it was a common occurrence across all games, including the legit ones on steam, but no one knew any exact solutions. Do you happen to know a fix for this?
Hello, I wanted to know if it is possible for you to make a mod that gives more resources per loot, I use this one that works in parts as it also aims to multiply the container's resources and unfortunately removing the platform's development time, but the platform's time only works for some and the amount of resources per container is also wrong, I wanted to know if you could do just the container part, without changing the platform construction time.

Thanks, man! If you want you could reference this mod on your known issues section, until you solve the loading problem. If a person takes a shower before returning to the ACC will avoid the issue.
