NOTE: If you face any issues, please share your save file and settings file via Dropbox, Pastebin or mega.nz It takes a few minutes to create an account!
1. Save files can be found at: <Steam folder>\userdata\<Your User ID>\311340\ Keep a backup of the folder 311340 before trying new mods always. Specially when trying the NewGame+ patch!
2. Patches need Snakebite compatibility mode to be disabled. You can do that through Snakebite settings.
3. Open '.mgsv' files using any archiver like 7-Zip or WinRAR if you want to check out the individual files/modded code.
4. Before installing any mods, it is a good idea to head back to the ACC and quit the game, then backup your save files.
5. If you experience infinite loading, then it's likely the result of a bad mod install by Snakebite. Do a 'Restore Original Game Files' via Snakebite settings and try again. If that does not work, re-validate the game through Steam and try again.
6. When playing a new game you need to switch fultons at least once! That will allow you to fulton stuff. Other wise by default, the No Fulton Device is equipped
7. The settings file is an optional download and needs to be placed in the game folder. You can edit all the settings and descriptions are provided alongside.
8. Either version of the mod will read the settings file from the game folder if it is placed there. Otherwise the default settings are used.
This mod works beautifully on v1.15, which has been downgraded to v1.10, especially on the cough cough sailor version. Make sure you download the manual installation files and Vanilla settings—never use Snakebite and default settings—or you'll need to reinstall the game because Snakebite messes up your files.
So, what makes this mod essential for the sailor version? It can unlock online-only content like weapon upgrades (the overpowered WU S.Pistol +SB and Burkov tranq, ARs, Shotties, and more), uniforms, and many other items you can't get in the offline version.
Here's what you need to do:
Back up your current save files.
Use a trainer that can unlock all developments and has an instant development feature. I use FLiNG.
Set development_ENABLE_onlineGearOffline=true—this option will unlock all online content.
Set deployment_gmpMultiplier=0.25 and deployment_resourceMultiplier=0.25—for some reason, the modder set both to 1, which makes the deployment cost ridiculously high for your high-grade weapons, SMH. You can set both to 0 if you want free deployment costs.
Save the LUA settings.
Open the game, turn on your trainer, and develop all the new online content in the ACC. Remember to close your iDroid once you finish upgrading to trigger the game's autosave.
Close the game and make another new backup of your new save files.
Open the LUA settings again and set development_ENABLE_onlineGearOffline=true to false.
You can transfer this save to the original game if you decide to buy it later. You'll have all the unlocked content right away, plus you can use Infinite Heaven. Sure, you can use IH on the sailor version, but this game is worth the money.
Note: If Mission 28 is bugged for you, uninstall this mod and restore the vanilla game's data before playing the mission. Make sure to back up your save files and the LUA file, I can't stress this enough. After finishing the mission, you can reinstall the mod and restore the LUA file as usual.
Where are the save game files stored for the sailor version?
edit: nvm I fixed it. I first download the r68 version of this mod (because it was was built for v1.10) but when I booted up the game I encountered an error about save data not being compatible. I uninstalled r68 and triedthe latest r71 version of this mod and it worked just fine.
Hello guys, I don't know if my issue has anything to do with this mod but it's my only guess.
Even at the beggining, all the enemies have late-game gear. They all have the bigass helmet, antibullet armor, rioting shields... Could the reason be this mod? Or they always have been that armored and I just don't remember?
I'm having the same issue. It kind of blows lol. Maybe it has something to do with Heroism being super high? Or the type of equipment you have access to after this mod? No idea how to reset it to a lower value.
for version 1.12 ?, so what are supposed to do just look at something we can't use anymore? either update it or hide it, it's just going to disappointment everyone that sees it at this point
Hi i intall the mod, i copy pasti into game folder the settings, changed the settings did the key combination, a message appears saying the settings are loaded but it desnt do enything enemies still alive after 5 shots... I even tried to put enemy armor and health to minimum and weapon damaga to max and nothing happens
Is it even possible to use this mod effectively on the Steam version anymore, or has the time come and gone? Really want to replay MGSV again with this, but it seems version incompatibility will never be fixed?
I didn't even consider that downgrading the Steam version of any game would even be possible. Is there a guide somewhere re: how I can downgrade MGSV to 1.12 (from 1.15)?
yes theres cracked version to downgrade the game to 1.12, because the newer version doesnt work in win 11. i have the steam version but i tried to use this mod on 1.12 cracked version and it works

Go to the girl's official website, find the game, scroll down to the first / top comment.
