Looks better than the original for sure, though maaaaybe a little too much red. I like to imagine it's less that the camo blends in better than most of the other camo types, and more that any soldiers who see what looks like a spotted cat slinking through the brush nearby try to pretend they didn't see it because they don't want to mess with a big cat XD
I've always found this camo very naturally adaptive to the environment visual appearances, and more harder to spot. Even realistically speaking. There should be a mod that increases the numeric value of the likliness of being spotted according to each camo. I know this is asking too much (and for what's its worth, I dont think anyone should waste their time doing this, even for fun IDK), but I hope the new MGS remake considers making these implementations. Infact, if this camo had this same skin implemented even on the straps and the bag, I think it would have been even harder to spot, and even more adaptive to the environment.
Anyways, thanks for the nice mod ! Definitely better than the original, and more accurate visually.
This is a very nice improvement OP but i wanted to ask about the color system, would it blend in well with it's modded colors or is it just a visual change and you get same camo as you did with vanilla. I'm hoping the game just recognizes what colors you got , modded or not, but that might be asking too much.
The change is entirely cosmetic. It will be effective in the same areas as vanilla. The game has a list of tiles that each type of camo is effective in.

I always found the default a bit ugly. I possibly went too far on reds but it looks cool at least :D
