We all love Quiet, but Big Boss will always be Venom's best buddy.

This mod replaces Quiet as a buddy with the original Big Boss. Quiet's Naked skin is now Big Boss in his GZ sneaking suit, and her Blood skin is Big Boss in his leather jacket. 

Quiet's buddy voicepack is replaced for full immersion, including the ACC.

UI elements are changed as of 1.00! Special credit to Team Naked, and in particular DarkVentus, from 'The Man Who Sold the World'. The staff image used was created by this incredible team.

Buddy uniform equip icons have been swapped over to match the suits provided, and text has been changed to reflect this as well. 

Ingame text has also been changed. Big Boss is referred to as 'Ishmael' throughout, as it's an alias he and Venom don't share. Moby Dick is also my favourite book, so it felt right.

As this is intended as a buddy mod only, Quiet cutscenes and her boss fights are unchanged, but BB will show up in the cutscenes of missions where you've taken Quiet along as your buddy. Quiet will also still be chilling in her cell. (However, as of 1.00, there's now a cutscene easter egg to find. If you know you know.)

Known issues:

There is one sound in Quiet's voice files that I can't track down for the life of me. It plays in a very specific circumstance and seems to intersect with her alert noise. One day I'll get it.

I'm also not skilled enough to know how to change around Snake's files so he doesn't call Quiet's name. I wish I could figure this one out, but it's packaged in a way I don't quite get. Maybe someday!
