The Audio Master gives you the ability to mute any sound category in the game in real time, quickly and easily. If you ever wanted to completely silence all ambient sounds, character voices, background music, common sound effects, the IDroid, and or the radio of both the enemy and Diamond Dog's, with any combination of the above, then this mod is for you.
You now also have the ability to tweak the volume of specific audio categories, such as for music, ambience, human voices, common & loud sfx, cassette tapes and more. For some of these a pitch shift option is included too, just for the fun of it.
The Audio Master works by inserting events inside the Initialization soundbank, and then by automatically calling the appropriate event when a setting's been modified through the menu. After that, the events modify the properties of the game's audio buses, which all sounds inherit their settings from. When the game is restarted, these events will be automatically called upon, depending on the settings the user has chosen, so all the behavior is restored automatically.

To use the mod, you first have to install Infinite Heaven and IHHook. Then all you have to do is press F3 (or hold Space) when you're in the game, and then nagivate to The Audio Master menu. Mods can be installed using the SnakeBite Mod Manager.

Q: Will this conflict with any sound mods?
A: Fortunately no! This mod only replaces the Initialization soundbank, which does not include any sounds, and will therefore not cause conflicts with any mod that adds/modifies sfx. This became possible thanks to an exploit I discovered, which allows me to add events inside said soundbank, something that WWise doesn't allow you to do at all (this one soundbank isn't allowed to have events). But through some tricks you can force it to have them anyway, and they work as intended!

Q: Will you add an option that mutes X sound effect?
A: No. I have attempted muting specific sounds only, but it doesn't work. Apparently a soundbank can only "see" and interact with what is included inside it. As a result, the Initialization soundbank cannot mute or modify any sound object, but only the audio buses that said sounds might be using.
