COMMENT WHICH GIVE A SOLUTION FOR INFINITE LOADING BOOT (I know this mod is quite old but if I can help someone who is in struggle like this guy 1 year ago in the bug section)
Why you can't load the mod ? It's simple : You can't boot the game while you have the 2 mods used in the heli/(CCA), the first "3D images" of the game you see and have to press "continue" (I mean the Title screen)
I don't know why the game can't load that, and the must bizarre thing is that it can load separatly the mod. Like if you just installed the face : no problem. If you just installed the outfit : no problem. But when you combine them, boom, the game infinite load.
So to resolve this you have to set a different person in the helicopter than Snake and his Normal fatigues at the end of every MGS game session. So you pick a DD female or DD male and you go fake a mission, deploy, and instant go back to CCA to get "save moment" which happen in the loading screen between openworld and CCA. AND THEN, you can close the game. So when you reopen it you will get DD male/female and not snake and Normal fatigues which cause infinite loading when mods are applied.
I hope this solution helped someone. Sorry for bad english, I did a lot of tests tonight with this mod and I'm quite exhausted.
After a couple of days of tries, I noticed that you can just deploy as well a different fatigues than the classic one at the end of a mission to avoid as well the infinite loading bug, it wont cost you anything if you have "https://www.nexusmods.com/metalgearsolidvtpp/mods/490" and i believe that it's better than rebboting a game for the 5th f**king time.
No offense to the creator though, this mod is clearly awesome and I love playing as Cliff. :D
hello, i love this mod, it's really well done and i truly appreciate playing as cliff unger. but i wanted to know if it's possible to get both of the files in one file only to avoid the infinite loading screen bug ?
Thank you so much for this, you're a master! Can't believe I can finally play as Mads Mikkelsen in all his kino glory! I doubt we'll ever get DS2 with playable Cliff but this will definitely do.
Amazing! Do you have a version that replaces Skull Face? I see it done in a YouTube video you posted on your previous Mads mod on nexus but i cant find any mod for that. I would really love to see that mod published. Skull Face is imo one of Kojimas least interesting villains, it would be amazing to see him replaced with Mads, on of Kojimas best.
