The original version looks way better. I think people just don't know how to properly calibrate the TV, it looks really realistic. The mods make it look like an older game running on shitty hardware. All you have to do is lower the brightness and raise the gamma and the game looks phenomenal beyond its time. I'm not shitting on your work, I'm just saying graphically this game has no issues. Though I'll admit I do have a mod for higher contrast cuz the nights in this game are entirely too bright. But again this mod makes the game look way less realistic. I could be spoiled on my HDR TV but I understand this game doesn't support HDR, no? Maybe the TV just does something SDR TVs can't do. Blacks look really dark on my TV.
Hey dude, whenever I use your enemy replace mods, all of them except for the US Marines one don't work. When I try to use them the game freezes at the levels loading screen. Any ideas for how to fix this?
This is pretty cool, thanks! I really like little fixes like this. I'm curious, were these things broken only in the PC version or are they broken in the console version too?
Happy that you like it! These are most likely like this across all retail versions of the game. I think they were just lost when they were converting how gimmicks are stored in memory. The light probes I believe are a little different in console releases but I'm sure they look the same.

They look better/more visible at night.
Could you turn on lights in every indoor location during daytime or explain to me how to do it please?
