It would probably benefit from not having as much muzzle climb with that much weight. I'll be it, I think it looks better having the sight mounted like it would on a normal AK.
Badger, I know that this is a year old comment, but look up Ultimak optic mounts. They're optic mounts that replace the gas tube on AKs with a railed one that also clamps to the barrel for extra support. Most red dot sights, even the comically big ones like in the game, usually aren't super heavy.

I have downloaded and tested the file from here and it works on SVG-67 grade 4-7. If it works perfectly fine on my end it makes it extremely hard to help you with the issues you are having.
The last few questions I will ask are:
1. Is this a legitimate copy of the game (non-pirated) 2. Do you have any other mods installed that edit the models or textures of the SVG style weapons? 3. Is Snakebite and your game up to date? 4. Can you provide a screenshot of Snakebite that shows all of the mods you have installed?

Fixes some textures I forgot to include for the grip.
It will not work on the SVG-76 or any of the short barrel SVG-67 variants that do not come with optics
