It's only now, trying to farm again (using Infinite Heaven force the waifu farm side op to open (in my case #158), that the game locks up. I need to go into Task Manager and force the game to close.
Reinstalling the mod does nothing. The game "remembers" that I've already done all the side ops (or whatever it is that is causing it to crash) even after a reinstall and the exact same error occurs.
Landing directly at the side op LZ caused a crash during the loading screen at first.
After a reinstall and trying to approach on foot from a different LZ, the game freezes at approx 240m away from the side op location.
Subsequently, landing directly at the side op LZ again causes another crash - the game world loads, Snake loads, but the game freezes in the microsecond before the prisoners spawn in (this is via Infinite Heaven's "start free roam on foot" option.)
I will try uninstalling all my other mods and see if that effects anything. If that fails I will try the Performance version of this mod, but I'm afraid that that too will only work one time.
Edit 1: Uninstalling all mods aside from Waifu Ops results in none of the ops showing up in the list, even though I've previously completed them on this save game.
Edit 2: Installing Infinite Heaven makes the ops show up in the list again. Attempting the only available waifu op (#158) causes a game freeze upon resuming from the loading screen. I think this op is available because I used IH to make this specific one available (as stated at the beginning of this post).
Edit 3: Resetting all of IH's settings greys out all of the waifu ops. Switching IH's "Sideop Selection Mode" to "16:Addon Sideop", and rerolling caused the Base Development Waifu farm to become available. The game DOES NOT CRASH, and the Waifu side op works as intended. No observable slowdowns in frame rate or quality. Extracted everyone and returned to ACC with no issues. Side Ops list updated with the Intel Waifu Farm becoming available.
Edit 4: Reinstalled S++ Soldier mod with no issues and no changes in behaviour. Changing IH to start free roam on foot also caused no issues.
Edit 5: Eventually, every Waifu op became greyed out after being played once. But rerolling (with "Sideop Selection Mode" set to "16:Addon Sideop" as above) made the Base Development Waifu Op available again.
In conclusion, at least in my case it's not a question of hardware (i7 7700HQ / GTX 1060 6GB / 16GB RAM) being unable to handle 20 prisoners on the map. It's the way that Infinite Heaven is used to make the Waifu Ops available again. I think using "Open Specific Sideop" to force the availability of a Waifu Op is what caused my game to crash. I'd be interested to hear if the steps I took above work for anyone else.
Now, it's only about to identify the setting that breaks the mod, but I'm too lazy for that :D
I narrowed it down to "Patrols and deployments menu" in IH. Resetting this menu settings to defult prevents the crash.
Yeah, that one always seemed a little screwy by itself, and is generally suggested to turn it off with complex addon Sideops. I even had IH reset the Quiet Escape mission and sideop, returned her, and then started playing random cutscenes without that option enabled. Kind of a Pandora's Box scenario, but there's no way I can play the game without IH now.
the normal behavior of the mod actualy "wait" for the player fulton/kill the 20 npc , so the mod can spawn a new set of 20 and so on , but yeah 140 soldiers at the same time is hard hit to the game.
IMO the simpliest way to fix (modder side) that would be to make soldiers set only spawn when you take the mission from heli , so the game know it must only spawn a specific set (ofc it mean soldiers would not be here when free roaming).
User-side i guess only reset 1 waifu mission at a time (once all have been done once) should be ok probably , and complet it before reset an another one.

So in case you are having troubles with this mod showing up USE INFINITE HEAVEN VERSION 257 !!!
(lower versions may work too, but I know that one works)
Is there a way to fix this so their other stats aren't limited to A++? Or maybe a small update to stop prioritizing any specific stat could solve the issue?
What I have done to try and fix this:
I tried uninstalling a bunch of different mods, I have like 30 different mods installed.
I tried resetting everything in IH.
I didn't not using cheat engine.
None of this worked, I do not want to reinstall the game. What is the problem and why did it do so much to my game?
But then i found out the mission will only show up after i entered helicopter and there's a cutscene, yeah i think that's what blocking a new mission to show up.
Also remember that if you want to download an older version of IH, you need to download the older version of the Hook and mod that was compatible with each other back then.
