Hi mate! I was wondering if you’d be able to fix the conflict of this mod with The Kingdom of the Plants mod? According to that mod author, it has to do with something called mip mapping?
I know this is an aesthetic mod for people who dislike the way the Skulls snipers look, but lorewise, doesn’t this defeat the purpose of the parasites? They look like they do because of them right?
Quiet is also infected with The One That Covers like all of the SKULLS are, but she isn't a (occasionally) shambling, grey-skinned zombie at the same time. Just conjecture on my part, but maybe she was given less aggressive parasite therapy that didn't completely destroy her cognitive functions like it did the Parasite Unit?
I did that today but I didn't quite like the results. Just applying a natural skin tone does not look good on them because their face corruption is clashing too much with their human apperance. However if I remove the corruption and make them look human, their movement and eye effects will still make them look weird.
It kind of breaks the immersion, so unfortunately I won't be doing the male Skulls because of this. They just don't look good with a natural skin tone, unlike the Female Skulls.
I actually wanted to re-texture her eyes into a natural blue color, but I had trouble finding her eyes texture so I haven't done it yet. But yes, I do intend on getting her eyes right eventually ^^
There aren't any special installation steps since this is a retexture and that is a model replacer. Simply install the two mods and you'll be good to go.
However if you wish to play as them by replacing female outfits or even the Parasite outfit, I recommend Skull Sniper Perfect FPS v1.0. It's what I'm using in the screenshots.

I've added a 2nd file which includes natural blue eyes for the Female Skulls to make them look even more human for those who are interested.
Not sure how this is happens tho, since one it alters npc's, and the other weapon models.

Would you also consider making her eye more natural-looking i.e without the cloudy cataracts?
Does the mod changes the DD female Soldier Skull suit to?
