TO UPDATE YOUR TOOL:
Please Delete your old MGSV GZ EZ tools folder or MGSV MODDING folder
And Place the new one in your MGSV:GZ Folder.

If you have issues post to the forum, and I will see what I can do. However Try to first replace Data_01/Data_02 with the originals then try again. If the issue persists contact me, with the steps you took so I can Recreate the issue.

HOW TO SET UP THIS TOOL:

Step 1: Make Back Ups of your data_01.g0s and data_02.g0s, in case you need to rollback to them from a bad mod.
Step 2: Place Unzipped MGSV Modding folder into your MGSV:GZ Folder.
Step 3: Launch MGSV Modding Tool. And go through the Setup. ("MGSV MODDING\Tools\MGSV_MODDING_Tool\MGSV Modding Tool.exe")

Choose your STEAM LIBRARY FOLDER: For most people this is C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam
or
Choose your MGSV folder

HOW TO USE THIS TOOL:

Step 1: Choose the settings that you wish under each category.

Step 2: Click Apply ("fixes/ settings/ choice") *NOTE* if you leave something unchecked it will write that value to default**

Step 3: Click on Save Settings.

HOW TO ADD YOUR OWN TEXTURES:
Create a new folder in "MGSV MODDING\Mods\Texture" choosing the Character and part you wanted to create a new texture for.
IE: C:\program files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\Common\Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes\MGSV MODDING\Mods\Texture\Characters\Big Boss (Snake)\Body\NEW FOLDER
Copy the .ftexs and .ftex files from the Default folder, and place them in the "\NEW FOLDER".

Go to the top left hand corner and select Tools.
Hover over FTEX TOOL, then select CONVERT TO DDS
Select the files in the folder you just created.
This should create a few .dds that you can edit and create a texture of your own with.
Edit them with your favorite dds editor.



To Turn them back into .ftexs use the same steps but select CONVERT TO FTEX. otherwise.
So quick thing on this. When you convert the dds back to ftex. Just make sure the newly created dds has the same amount of layers.
