I think it's self explanatory - they pause at the end and you have to press a button to continue. You won't miss anything. If you want to avoid this issue just don't mod them - that's why it's optional.
Late reply, but I believe people mentioned there were/are a desync with the Snake Eater music FMV that plays when you finish the Virtuous Mission / launch the game. It was a issue in the original HD collection as well. The music play a second before it is suppose to or something.
It was MGS HD fix. When you use the MGS HD Fix as the state its in to set your preferred window to window or borderless rather than fullscreen like it is by default then it for some reason delays all audio only in cutscenes and only over a period of time as any cutscenes goes on that resets at the beginning. Ive got no idea why.
Just wanna say thanks again for this mod and the re-upload, it's basically a necessity. I thought you might wanna know something interesting with your mod:
Normally I can get 60 FPS just fine in this game, no issues. But if I load up the Demo Theater and quickly walk down the left path of cutscenes (the one that highlights them all very quickly and plays sounds very quickly) I can actually get a 2-3 drop in frame rate until I stop. It's the only spot in the game that does with. But with your mod installed, it doesn't happen! It stays at 60 all the way down. I can only imagine this is because of some way the game plays back the compressed files it comes with, as opposed to the clean ones you provide.
I know this doesn't matter much in the long run, but I thought it was interesting.
The voices seem fine but in both the base game and using htis mod for me allt he sound effects become extremely delayed. For instance in the introducition to Ocelot there is a full second delay before the sound effects play vs when it happens on screen when he does things like shoot someone or an enemy sprays an lmg into the air. Is there anyway your mod could try to fix and address this because it's sooooo annoying to me.
Ive looked up videos on youtube and they seem to not have this bug but everytime I play the game either modded or unmodded this happens for me. I hve no idea whats up
See thats the thing, Ive tried it on SSD and HDD. Ive tried turning on and off vsync, I've tried playign the game with or without the mod, I've tried everything. I've even tried removing all mods, still happens. I cant seem to figure out what at all is the problem. I looked it up, some people have reported the problem but no ones found it. What seems to be happening is the audio starts off fine and in sync but as a cutscene goes on longer it gets more and more out of sync until eventually sound is a full 3 seconds after it happens on screen. Its bad enough that I would say it makes some cutscenes almost unplayable. I have no idea what a solution is to be honest, I was hoping maybe you might know if like theres some added pause at the start of sound effects or something that could be causing this, or what. Because i genuinelly have *no* idea
Actually wait maybe its an SSD specific issue??? But why? :( That actually sucks- Oh my god is the game loading audio too fast so it fucks up the cutscenes or something? I dont get it.
How do I delete this, idk what the problem is anymore. It cant be your mod, ive tried the game with and without it and it still happens. idk what it is.

And will there be a JP version?
Maybe someday, idk.
Its honestly such a strange bug.
Lock your game at 59.999 fps and everything should work correctly.
I'm also trying to edit codec text if anyone knows how to.
And hell while I'm at it does anyone know how to load up models and view them?
I got so many ideas of things I want to try to do but do not know how to go about doing them.
