Permissions and credits
Unlike Defensive Offense, this dodge is very snappy — the timing is a little harder, but you have much more control. (And you can't accidentally hit Armstrong in phase 1 and make yourself vulnerable.)

Updates to the original post of this mod:
  • After dodging, Raiden can begin other actions earlier
  • Heavy attack buffering — for example, doing 2 heavy attacks, dodging, then doing the NEXT 2 — is now possible
  • The vanilla forward dodge (Defensive Offense) is no longer swapped, since its movement is already tight

I don't remember if this was a problem with the original mod or not, but while I was experimenting with attack buffering, I found that these unused dodges no longer had invincibility frames, making them useless as dodges. Whether that was a problem before or not, it definitely isn't one now.

I have a mod to give Sam's dodges and idle pose to Raiden, but what's cooler about this mod is that these unused dodges transition to Raiden's idle pose, so there's no mismatching animations. Enjoy; installation instructions in download, see videos tab for demonstration
