Edit: sorry I haven‘t uploaded the Valley save yet. Which file have you downloaded ? I‘ll have a look why it doesn’t start with character creation and try changing it so you can use your own character :)
I love the game, but I don't truly have the time to grind hardcore into it, but I truly want to have a village set and all (at least the first character)
Is it possible to also have a save with all technologies maxed?
Thanks for doing this. I know its a creative mod, but was wondering if you could make a version that just has the materials without the dynasty points, skills and knowledge completed? Also reduce seasons to default, you cant change it back until current season finishes. I took a look at the editor and yeah im a dummy and no clue how to change it.
Sure thing ! I´ll change everything tomorrow and upload a new file. If you want i can also DM you my discord and show you how to change everything you want :)
It´s uploaded. Will take some time for it to get checked and after that you can download it. Some diplomacy is leveled from buying the items and some reputation came from the tutorial quest. I hope thats ok. Otherwise i could use Cheat Engine to find those values and set them to 0 but you´d have to wait a bit longer for me to find the time to do that. Just hmu if you want anything changed or need help changing it yourself :)
Hey I’m sorry but my Russian is just good enough for a few words. I hope an English response is okay as well. 1. Find the savefile you wanna change. (On windows you should find it here: %LOCALAPPDATA% \Medieval_Dynasty\Saved\SaveGames\ 2. copy the game file onto your desktop and rename it (like put a 1 behind it or something; this isn‘t mandatory, just so you have a backup if something goes wrong) - you don‘t need the label.sav data 3. go to https://www.saveeditonline.com/ and upload the file from your desktop that you renamed 4. after the file has loaded into the editor search for „multiplier“ or „building“. There should only be one which is called „BuldingMulitplier“ or something like that The value is in % so 100% is the max which is 700 I think so when I put it to 10.000% it changed the limit to 70.000 buildings. 5. Download the new and changed savefile and put it back into the original folder. If everything runs as intended you can rename the file back to the original and delete the old one.
If there are any issues with translating hmu again and I’ll ask my girlfriend if she can translate. Have fun building your village :)
@kcuison sadly i found no way to do this with savegameedit but i used MD Trainer for that. It´s the only free one i found. I think i credited it. You can put any value in at number 7 and as long as you have 2 of that item you just set the number, hit 7 on your Numpad and drop one item or put it in a chest. You´ll see the value of that item will have changed to whatever you set it to. But be aware; theres an item limit in the game. You can only have like 10 mio of 8-9 items before it wont work anymore.
Oh wow how does it work ? I found the values on CheatEngine but the location changed every few seconds. And i heard it was possible with save edit online in ealier versions but couldn´t find values in the newest versions.
Hi mate. I saw a tutorial on youtube (forgot the guys youtube account). anyway, just go to your save file and open it using notepad+ and search for the name of the item, you will see there the amount of it and edit the amount, however here's the catch... you should input the same number of digits you have on your item
e.g: your coin is 100, you can change it to 999 (should have the same number of digits, tens, hundreds, thousands) - you cannot change it to 1000 since it has 4 digit numbers, should be the same, and save your changes, and load that save file in to your game. Cheers! :)
would you mind explaining how? id really appreciate it!
I did find the video you mention but the second video he talks about doesn't exist anymore and opening the file with notepad++ just shows impossible to edit gibberish.
if you managed to do it and you could explain it would truly be life saving
