The author of this modification is a frivolous man. He throws something, without a description and ... disappears ."You want to the village they will switch to the family they want" is a complete bluff.
Where are they supposed to live? There are 97 people and only 15 houses. In one house "stays on the pile" of 40 people !!! Is this a hippie communion in the 12th century village?
That was a great trick, and one I personally would like to know how to reproduce in a new game. I get that the can essentially rapidly reproduce more children in each household that is piled up like that. But I still want a bit of the build my own version at my own chosen location for the self achievements part of the playthrough. Not to hate on anyone else's parade. The whole stuck starting off with someone else's random mid-story while stuck laying with their wife. Has a heck of a rotten after thought to it.
Can you please provide more information on how this works? I’ve attempted installation and run the year 14 save provided but I’m not seeing changes on villager behavior. I was most interested in the idea of the villagers themselves “choosing” their own partners but I’m not seeing that. Do I need to do or set up anything specific to sort of initiate that change? Thank you!
I am not exactly sure what your asking for... but doesn't the villagers naturally choose who their marriage partner will be from their current household members by default. I am just going to assume that just means that of all the people clustered in one home they will choose their own spouse and breed on their own. Though it would be extremely awkward and abnormal to have to explain that part to another. If that is what you are asking, I highly doubt anyone would come back to answer you to avoid a needless offense to your feelings.
I'm going to assume this simply doesn't work based on the complete lack of description and author support.
How exactly do they "choose" a family, and what does that actually mean? Does that mean they will live wherever they want and you can't assign them a house, meaning your farmer might live miles away from the farm and never actually get to work?

Lowest effort upload I've ever seen on Nexus.
