if you update it, add the marauder hero Bounty hunter II. It has 48 kmh speed while it should be 64 lol.

Ew. Definitely, assuming it has the right engine for the 4/6 movement.

Any chance this could be updated for the DLC?

This is going to happen, but will be a while. I am going to be getting back into the mod scene soon.

A mod that undoes PGI's stupid decision to nerf the speed of 3/5 mechs for claimed "accuracy" reasons? Praise be unto Blake!

    Hello,

I really like the implementation of the correct mech velocities. Does this mod work post-patch? I installed it into my .pak folder and it does not change the mech speed for any of the 3/5 and 5/8 mechs.

    Best regards, Ryo

No, I don't think it works post-patch. I am about to come to a stopping point on my variants mod, then I may revisit it. The biggest thing to know is that the SpeedQuirk will likely not be compatable with most of the other mods that affect mechs. Glad to hear you liked the correct velocities. All mechs in my variants pack will include the updates stats.

I would love to combine this mod with Navids volumetric re-scale mod to have mechs with correct size and speed. =)
Would it be possible that I can open the volumetric re-scale mod .paks and change the values for mech speeds? Just tried opening one .pak file with 7Zip but it did not work.

Sadly, no. The editor encrypts everything, so he would have to include the speed tweak to his mod. That said, I don't mind sharing with him, but I'm not going to try to convince him to include my stats after all his work.

Okay I did not know about the encryption that would prevent players to combine some of their most favourite mods.

If you don't mind I could try to contact him how he would feel about using your shared work to create a corrected size and speed mod version?

Any chance on getting more mech speed tweeks?

As I add variants, I will add their respective speeds. If there is a 3025 or 3050 variant you don't see, I may add it and its speed.

    Hello,

First, great mod, love to have the data sheet speed on the mech !
I've use it until now, but since i've installed "Yet Another Mech" from cszolee79 could/may i ask you to had his variants to your mod.
Currently i'm rocking an Atlas (AS7-TR) and a King Crab (KGC-G) both uniques/heroes variants, and it kind make me sad that i'm slower than theyr ealiest/older version.
Or if too much works/mechs to add, can you explain how i could add them myself to your mod manually ?

In any case, great much thanks to you for your work !

    My regards,

Cmdr "Derp The Jester" Mason. :-D

It would be very difficult to integrate his mechs to mine, especially as he makes more variants. I am still struggling with the post-update editor on another mod I'm working on. I may take a break on that and come back to the speed tweak soon. Glad you're enjoying it. If I figure out how to work the new editor, I'll give it a shot.
