    03.29.24: Repackaged for DLC 6 (v1.1.355). Same mod version # v1.2

v1.2: Fix for mod manager load issue.  No new functionality added.

v1.1: This mod was originally created by djii in 2021 and posted on Nexus. It has since been un-supported and was not functional since DLC4 based on Nexus user posts. I was able to re-package the Unreal source code for the latest DLC 5 patch v1.1.351 and everything appears to work as advertised now.

It took me a few missions to get use to the changing pip colors but after awhile I got use to it and saw the value of this mod. I plan to support the mod going forward but it will take some time to go through the Unreal code and figure out some of the details.

does not work for me, neither with a bunch of mods, nor alone with mod options. simply not showing up although it says it is loaded from the main menu and mod options menu

Make sure you go to the normal Options menu and click on "Enable Crosshair Cooldown Pips". The mod is not adding the feature itself, it's only modifying a vanilla feature. So it needs to be enabled there first or the mod won't do anything.

I can confirm it's working under the current version

Still works great with all DLCs and 50+ mods, including the Advanced Zoom mod.

Configurable colors in the in-game options is awesome.

Deactivated all HUD mods even. Did put the mod at the top and bottom of the load order.
I do have all requirements. All DLC's.
Unless there is just one specific mod that just doesn't work with it, it sadly isn't working for me.

Hi, I'm using MW5 Mod Organizer and your mod doesn't show up in the load order. It works and is recognized by the ingame mod management tool but for some reason it messes with real mod organizers. I've also had the same crashes as the commenter below with LOTS.

Otherwise, it's nice seeing this mod being supported again and I hope you can figure it out.

hey, just so you know your mod's json crashes RJ's load order manager MW5 LOM V2 -UPDATED 2023- at MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)

it doesn't like the description field, editing out the line break makes LOM happy again :)

      That's a serious bug in RJ's manager.

It's not the LOM. LOTS is another mod manager with the same issue. It crashes on startup when trying to load the jsons. It was corrected with coded line breaks on the workshop but not here.

Also a suggestion to mod author, ProHUD also uses Diji's code but added actual cooldown progress bars inside the pips. Unfortunately, ProHUD is a total HUD replacer, and has been abandoned, although it does still work. The pips are also busier and I think smaller than the default ones. I would love to see cooldown progress animations in a simpler modular package as this does.
