    03.26.2024: Updated for DLC 6 (v1.1.355).

    03.14.2024:  I will be looking at making this compatible with DLC6 but may not post an update until the inevitable DLC  patch is released.

    10.23.2023: v4.1 posted - Adds a Mod Options setting to apply a multiplier to the base cBill amount for Damage Coverage (Insurance). I rarely bought Insurance because the potential payout wasn't worth using a negotiation point vs cBills. So, this changes that game play dynamic.

    10.12.2023: BETA 4.0 for Reputation XP Bonus/Penalty posted under Files-> Optional - see description for details.Given the conflict with the Negotiated Gain mod I decided to create a Reputation XP bonus option in this mod.

    10.05.2023 - Version 3.2.4 posted: UPDATED for latest MW5 patch v1.1.349.
      Also includes fixes for YAML V2 Salvage and Remove Weapon Tiers conflicts, Mod Options override setting added as a workaround solution for the VonBiomes Contracts Banner issue where the Vouchers row is pushed off screen, decoupled Bonus calculations from Penalty tables so the new penalty multiplier (added in DLC5 patch) does not apply to bonus payouts,  fix for Total Shares numbers not always DISPLAYING correctly, minor UI edits.

    Version 3.2 posted - Updated for DLC5. Check-all checkbox performance improvement, tweaked bonus payouts for Salvage Points (higher payouts when deployed tonnage
    is under by more than 100 tons), fixed an issue with Mod Option settings being entered (typed) outside the allowed range.

    Version 3.1 posted - post Beta version; also includes ability to mass check/uncheck salvage items in the post-mission selection list. Minor UI format changes. Adds the ability to Purchase Salvaged Mechs, Weapons and Equipment post mission if you are short Salvage Shares. I added this feature as Undertonnage Bonus wouldn't work with Bobbert's Purchase Salvage given the many file conflicts between the two mods.

    Version 2.03a posted fix for intermittent game lock-ups post mission.

    Version 2.02 posted - fixed issue with the Nexus version JSON file (Steam version is fine)

    Version 2.01 posted - resolved issue where selected salvage items, using vouchers, didn't transfer to inventory under certain situations. Fixed a base game bug where salvage shares subject to a penalty were incorrect if not all of the Salvage “Negotiation” Points were assigned in the Contract Negotiations screen.
    Hopefully this latest version is solid.  The logic around Salvage shares and tonnage Penalties (and now Bonus) is very complex and there are a number of scenarios that have to be tested.

    Version 2 with Salvage Vouchers posted. Previous version 1.33, without Vouchers, is available under Files tab.

    I have this mod overriding PO but even though PO still works, PO no longer shows the types of Pilots (green, regular, veteran, and elite) those badges are gone from the hire pilots screen.

    I love PO but man is it the most finicky mod that almost every mod wants to break it.

    Curious what this mod needs to over ride from PO since this is basically salvage/rep changes....

      What screen are you referring to, the barracks screen where you hire pilots. Or the mission deployment screen where you assign pilots to mechs?  My mod doesn’t touch the barracks-hire screen.

    First thank you for this mod.   I came to Nexus to look for a salvage mod as I was starting to get fed up with spending like 14 pts in salvage and coming out of a 100 difficulty mission with 18 salvage points!   I run Coyote and some of the missions are very hard and after you finally beat the mission its a real shame to get next to nothing from salvage.

    I would like to also thank you for the VERY DETAILED description page so I know exactly what I'm downloading and how it works with other mods.   Also appreciate the extra tidbit about loading after PO.

    Regarding the YAML v2 salvage issue, can you explain that a little more as in what counter doesn't increment?   I'm sure I will figure it out as I use v2. EDIT: OK I figured it out, it's when you pick salvage at the end it does not decrement remaining shares as you pick the variant's salvage parts.  Is this something that will get adjusted or not in scope?   Otherwise, no big deal to me I dont mind paying a ton of credits for those parts and do the math myself.

    Going to give this a try now!   :)

    Just curious, but do you think it would be entirely possible to add compatibility with or incorporate an option with mods that allow you to use unspent negotiation points towards reputation. Or perhaps add them as a form of voucher too? All of the mods available sadly conflict currently.

    As much as it's nice to get bonus reputation from running lances under the mission tonnage all the time sometimes my team and I are not worried about salvage or even money but rather earning rep, yet it isn't always viable to run a lance of light or medium mechs into a high difficulty mission just for rep.

    We just like to have options available y'know what I mean and Reputation seems to be one of those things that is rarely influenced in negotiation. And we'd rather prioritize this mod because it's so flexible.

    Hello Kmoore88 I would say I love the mod but I am still getting used to it after pulling Purchase Salvage.

    I recently updated my EXE and well as added all the rest of the DLC's and I am trying to find the right balance with your mod. I am using YAML but I am finding the prices of items extremely high to salvage. now it is a new game and my REP is low so this might be all it is but I run a very expensive YAML in terms of Pilots Payroll as well as Hanger fees so salvaging and selling needs to be an avenue by which I can make additional Cbills beyond just want I make for mission completion.

    What would you suggest for my slider settings and at what Rep do I need to achieve salvage being affordable to pick up and sell. My last battle had a 060 Engine I was able to salvage for 510,000 Cbills but the market will only give me 208,000 for it. My current Rep is 3 and I am in Kurita Space where my standing with them is -35. Suspicious. 

    What would I have to achieve to even break even and just get my Cbills back for that Engine.

    Any chance in the next update can it be possible to make,  it so sliders can go less than 1 as the multiplier just in case you mod makes things too expensive. I want to be able to salvage to make money while my Dropship costs and Payroll bankrupt me if I don't do enough missions to pay  for everything. I can look forward to a future with the Dropship upgrades to lower salvage costs maybe I need to be patient if I can afford to and wait till I get those.

      The purchase salvage feature is intended to provide an option to buy something you really want but are short a few salvage shares. The cost to do that is a paying a premium in cBills.  It's already a form of a cheat and I didn't want to make it even more of cheat by allowing a discount setting (<1).

      Having said that I think YAML provides an option in setting marketplace costs to be less than vanilla.

    I am new to this mod after previously using another one that is similar.  This mod works great (I'm still on game version 1.1.351 and using v4.1 of this mod), but I wanted to ask if you would consider adding a checkbox to select all of the salvage (in addition to the existing yellow checkbox to select all of the salvage up to what is available with existing salvage shares) and greater ranges for the sliders.

      Unfortunately that causes performance issues, and that's why its limited the way it is.

    Is it me or is the bonus/penalty ratio really stingy now?

    EDIT: nevermind, it's stemming from an issue with vonBiomes that is to be ironed out in its next patch anyway.

    @kmoore88: Good to know you are still around and are looking in to updating the mod to be DLC6 compatible. I just can't play the game without your mod anymore and I look forward to the update.

    Where are we at with a full fix for YAML salvage v2? It still doesn't increment shares when grabbing a second mech part (I get around it by using all my shares on other things and then purchase the second mech part, so at least I avoid getting free mech parts that way, but it is annoying).

      It will charge you correctly, I've noticed - it just fails to update the running total on the shares spent correctly after that first piece of v2 salvage.

      Yeah I figured that out after some experimenting - it means my poor brain has to do maths, but it is worth putting up with because both this mod and salvage v2 are things I don't want to do without.

    I find myself missing the faction-standing-based discount or penalty on the salvage purchase prices, as seen in the "Purchase Salvage" mod.
