This night vision code was originally crafted by the YAML crew. All I have done is tweak some values. My understanding from their mod page is that it is ok to use their assets in other mods, but if any of the developers of that mod dislike this, I will take it down.

This is a reworked version of the basic night vision included in YAML, so the original code is all theirs. I wanted a vision mode that could be more useful in a variety of conditions as the default version seemed blown out in every type of lighting I used it in, and the thermal vision mode causes me eye strain and has a short viewing range. This version will see through heavy weather and smoke to the horizon, and increases contrast, which helps in lower light situations. I'll possibly tweak it over time, but it's reasonably usable in most conditions for now.
