It has problem with wider mechs like king crab while deploying, one of the best mods I have seen, if it gets more polishing would be gold hoping for it
Minor artistic suggestion: I think the upper hull needs a slight resizing, such that the angled band of armoured plates above the landing leg fairings hits a maximum diameter very similar to the max diameter created by the leg fairings. That would bring the silhouette to more of an egg shape, where now it feels more egg-in-a-cup.
That aside, your work is amazing, and I always wanted to see the Overlord in MW5.
I wonder, would you be interested in giving the Broadsword exterior a go? I imagine a modern Broadsword would share a lot of design language with the Seleucus: https://www.sarna.net/wiki/Seleucus
trying to find is difficult if you have other mods on check for conflicts. then one at a time and see if it happens is my only answer for you at the moment. I apologize because I can't see it on my end for now.
are you running the union mod at the same time? cause those will conflict. and that would or could cause that issue for the moment they modify the same files.
The good news is if I disable every mod except the Overlord it works in menus and for deployment. Doors are nice.
With further testing it works if I disable every YAML related mod I have.
BUT, when I turn on YAML, Harjel, and YAML Heatsink Restriction there is memory leak loading into leopard or loading into a mission with the overlord known to be working.
Not compatible with YAML. Works with mod options though.
I won't say you're wrong and I can do my own test what version of yet another mech lab do you have the latest or other? it should work with YAML mod options might be the issue but? Why I say this is I test with YAML active most times have not the latest version since the DLC or even turned it on so maybe something changed but that shouldn't be from the fact the union works fine. in any case i will endeavor to make sure it works with YAML at some point for you

The Expanded HUD mod is not compatible with DLC 4 (with YAML?) and has similar behavior. It throws an error about "leopard mech.paperdoll" when used with YAML. This mod has no error just fills all memory and dies on loading screen to leopard. This may not be the same issue but probably is DLC 4 related. Many mods had to be updated.
Still broke with YAML, same behavior. There are no conflicts with overlord BUT maybe it is a load order problem. I might try reinstalling everything with the default load order to see if it works
it's hard to figure simply put even when it happened to me that the previous build before DLC4 worked well enough (no real freezing but issues from being an older version not built for the DLC) the debug they just removed from YAML seemed to fix some but the menus do freeze and i'll have to go through the mod to find it but that is not simple. I feel it's more to do with YAMl than this as this doesn't modify those menus just what the game provides in the system. hope this answers something. any camera changes are managed by the game's inbuilt utilities so I ask you just give me time.
So I'm having issues with this mod either it hanging and crashing or just going black screen then crashing, after selecting a save or pressing continue on my campaign save.
I think it is because I don't have the Call to Arms DLC? because it renders a centurion with a melee weapon when I was able to somewhat render the ship.
possible issue not sure but from the tiny amount I saw it looks good, just a shame it doesn't want to work on my pc.
might be the DLC the best solution is for me to use base game mechs then. but having call to arms I find melee weapons fun so its not a suggestion. only a recommendation I would get call to arms for the fun it adds (this is an opinion).
Hope you keep going with it. I never understood why (beyond the 4 mech limit in mission) they restricted it to Leopards. It would have been a better game mechanic to limit the hangar bays to the ship capacity and allow you to purchase a different dropship as a unit upgrade to get more slots. Looking forward to your Union dropships as well.
Hey, had a run through and it was honestly kinda surreal leaving the dropship at mission start. I like the detail you put in and was pleasantly surprised by the WIP shilones. This is a really cool project and I hope you continue with it. It was slightly jarring to see personnel the size of dwarves though, but still a really cool first look!
