    Really like your mod... finding new and impressive ways of causing the bad guys to 'Go Critical'.
    Question about the HLBX-20-MS... is there ammo for this beast? I've been all over and can't find anything that looks like it should work.
    I've tried the HLBX-10MS Ammo and it "seems" to work... but am I only getting 10MS damage from the 20MS weapon?

    Just wanted to let you know that it looks like the last game update broke this mod. :(

    Edit: After being able to spend more time then one battle, it looks like it only affected the increased ammo, and the HSEMEDLAS act like they are Medium pulse lasers.

    p.s. thanks for making this mod. its perfect for when i'm in the mood to just blow s#*! up.

    HI ChonkE, thanks for the update, LRM's working well now. but Hvy SSRM6 and Hvy SRM6 Artemis can't recognize any ammo. even install ammo with un-tick valid only. standard Hvy SRM6 has ammo.
    Interestingly, the new Hvy LRM' ST's, they go right to the center torso of the mech, so Hvy LRM 20 will 1 shot kill most lights, 2 shots kill medium and 3-4 shots kill heavy or assault. when used with double enemy mod, it was fun to massacre the enemy. I used only 1 CPLT-BB on a Demolition mission, killed 125 mech + loads of other things. after some thinking game, good to have some simple killing game just for a different fun.

      Thanks for the heads up! I have not played this iteration at all. Been too busy at work. I got a fixed version coming down the pipe directly :D If you find anything else let me know. Also if you want anything tweaked please give me a heads up.

      Hi ChonkE, Thanks for the fix.
      just tested tier 5 Hvy SSRM6 and Hvy SRM6 Artemis, both ammo working ok. I presume the other SSRM and SRM Art. should be fine.
      I also don't have a lot of time to play due to busy work sadly. I'll let you know if I find any other issue.

    Played through the game with the "OP All-In-One Hero and New Variant Mechs and Heavy Weapon Pack" version. I was disappointed to discover that the Nightstar was not a hero mech. Seems a shame to unearth a 'treasure' that is inferior to the mechs you are already piloting. Any chance that could be included?

      Ahhhh! There is a Nightstar Hero mech though. Try it in instant action and then go searching those stores. I find it kind of underwhelming though. I might give it some more juice when I get back to updating these mods. I will probably be more focused on brand new Frankenmechs from MWO assets however and the group project I am trying to do work on

      Is there any way to force that Nightstar Hero mech into the campaign quest?

      I just started a new playthrough, this time using your "OP Hero Variants with Triple Ammo", without the heavy weapons. I think I've gotten enough familiarity with the controls now to up my difficulty. ;-) (I am over sixty and utterly suck at twitch gaming, so I actually need mods like yours to be able to play.) Maybe this time I'll get luckier with the hero mechs I find. I am really hoping for a Marauder (my favorite mech).

      Either use the Save Game Editor to swap out the mech (should be NSR-NS_mda if you need to add to the XML) or wait for the Nightstar to hopefully pop up in store. I do not know why the weapons pop into store immediately. They should still follow the game mechanics Enter on Date but that is wonky and I never bothered to look into it. A different modder has the issue solved for correct store dating but it never bothered me.

      Ouch! You weren't kidding about the Nightstar hero mech being underwhelming. I played through a whole other campaign telling myself that when I finally won it in game, that I would edit in the hero version. As fate would have it, the system I jumped to just after gaining the Nightstar in game, so as to repair before saving, had a Nightstar hero mech for sale. Didn't even need the save editor. I bought it. Looked at it. Reloaded. I have absolutely no use for that piece of junk. The Catapult it would have replaced is FAR better.

      You need to grab up an Atlas hero or the Annihilator 5X hero mech. That Annihilator is 64 kph, can carry more guns than I care to even think about and is a walking fortress. Give it a spin in Instant Action and you will probably quest after it. It is nasty.

      Indeed. Shortly after making this post, I did in fact find both an Atlas and an Annihilator and both immediately found a place in my prime lance. Either are perfect for player piloting.

    Hi, thanks for you great work with the hero mech and the weapons. HLRM 20 seems having difficulty hit any moving mech, even heavy mechs.
    I know you moved on to other modding. just wondering if you still have time to change HLRM 20 to the HLRM 20 ST with Artemis as ChonkE put up before. May be even add HSSRM6 and HSRM6, and H ER L Laser to make it complete! I know I'm asking too much, but it would be great if you can.

      Hmmmm. I might be able to do that. It is not asking too much; modding the files is super quick and easy. Cooking and packaging is the marathon. It would only take a couple of hours to get the weapons finished but the other part takes almost two days. If I was going to make another package it would be all the weapons as heavy. I might be adding some Frankenmechs/Custom mechs to my Hero package and if that is the case, then I will probably do the weapons too. Those mechs are not easy to do though :p Anyways, appreciate the feedback as always ^.^

      thanks!. It's nice to know this mod is still alive!. the HLRM20 can almost be used like SRM within 100m if aiming right, without a minimal range, not sure if this is intended. but in long rang, it seems always hit something behind the target.
      another thing, by any chance you could include a xml list of the new added hero mech variants? I have spend a lot of time travelling to find them but so far can't see any yet. Would be nice to use save editor to test them just for fun! I was reading about how to mod and cooking, and know that is very time consuming! appreciate for all your effort!

      Frankenmechs! Sounds like loads of fun! Any chance of a Marauder II hero mech? (Marauder is by far my favorite mech graphically.) Lore says it was inner sphere, built in 3012, not that I suppose it 'needs' to be lore friendly. Graphically it is simply a scaled up Marauder. Problem for me I suppose is that I really cannot stomach piloting a mech with a movement less than 64, which to me already feels like moving in molasses (I am SO tired of the Banshee). Would you know if it is possible to mod in a MASC piece of equipable gear that boosts movement? Failing that, maybe make an improved movement a 'feature' of hero mechs?

      The Marauder II is not a clan mech. It was first built in the inner sphere in 3012, according to official lore.

    Where does one find/how does one acquire LBX ammo? I've traveled to all manner of places looking, haven't seen a single ton. I did manage to find a single ton of UAC5 ammo, which of course is insufficient to equip a single weapon, so there is a problem there too.

    Heh, not twenty minutes after posting this, I got a slew of LBX and UAC5 ammo both in a quest reward. I did a victory cheer! Later I got more LBX when a heavy turned up as a "rare weapon". Apparently that's the way to get Gauss ammo too.
