It doesn't matter what order I place the mod, default, 0, last load order, the same result always happens:
odar.log always shows: Intro date is invalid. Finding a new unit.
Even with the "Intro date is invalid. Finding a new unit." error showing up, about 25% of the time, a unit does spawn.
Remove Initial Timer doesn't work, regardless if toggled on/off and what Game.ini says.
Enforce Introduction Dates on/off doesn't change how the mod functions.
The rest of the mod seems to work. Use Leopard works if you drop mechs (vehicles just spawn), Drop Fees Difficulty is applied (but the dropdown list text is incorrect, but the Game.ini file value seems to match correctly with the cost), Drop Composition seems to perform the correct logic selection of the selected option, Paint Source seems to work, Unlimited Airstrikes seems to work, and Custom Color works.
It's just the entire mod seems to always have Enforce Introduction Dates on and the dates are always invalid (9999?) for everything it seems to want to attempt to spawn and the removal of the initial timer isn't working.
For testing purposes, I have turned off every single mod other than this one and tested drops, nothing seems to spawn. Odar.log shows it finds everything with no errors, no intro date issues, but just nothing spawns.
An update to my own post, in case others wanted to see, I resolved some issues with mechs spawning with ODAR Vehicle Airstrike Drop Mod. There is two issues leading to the mod not spawning mechs correctly, and I think the mod can't find many IS mechs that exist across both the YACI and Lore-based Mech Variants for Yet Another Mechlab and Yet Another Weapon, which has a TON of mechs that exist across both.
I had noticed that YACI had issues with MON-67 (maybe all of them) not containing textures and whatnot, so I use the Lore-based Mech Variants for YAML and YAWC. The why I resolved this is having Lore-based Mech Variants for YAML and YAWC override YACI and now ODAR seems to see the MON-67.
Another issue, is just user error, in that I typed the unit text for spawn_pool.json (I heavily customize it for my tastes) incorrect. Apparently, ODAR doesn't log that the unitcard couldn't be found, only if the unit composition that contains each unitcard in that composition is only ever logged as an error ("30t_JVN-10N": ["JVN_10N_UnitCard"]) will say successfully found (as spawn_composition.json has "30t_JVN-10N" correctly in it) but it can't find JVN_10N_UnitCard as it should actually be JVN-10N_UnitCard.
More testing is needed to see if I have messed up YACI when I get to that stage. Also, I need to test if vehicles spawn correctly, but I have no way to check what vehicles are loaded into the game, unlike the YAML command "listmechs". Also, the timer isn't still removed with it checked, so I imagine the mod is not functioning correctly.
Since a couple people seem to be having issues and I recently also had issues and fixed mine I'll post my experience here in case it helps anybody going forward.
If you're using MW2 Betty Ultimate, that's the issue. Or at least it was mine. Both default to 0 in load order and Betty takes priority, overwriting the airstrike file that this mod also uses, despite only affecting the voice line used. Bump this mod to 1 in load order and suddenly it works just fine EVEN THOUGH THE BETTY VOICE LINE STILL WORKS????? Very odd. But that's sorted. Now I can obliterate Freebirth scum with a whole Galaxy of Timber Wolfs. And you can too. Hopefully.
Weirdly, I seem to be able to launch the game with this mod but NOT if Stacked Crates is enabled at the same time. They don't show a conflict in any of the mod managers, so I can only assume one is affecting a vanilla file they both refer to.
Edit: Annnd now I can't launch it at all but I haven't changed anything, so I'm confused.
Any update planned for this? I have tried multiple different drop settings and each one is broken. For example an assault company will drop a mix of units and not a full company. A heavy lance will drop an assault, heavy, medium, and light mech. This is one of my favorite mods in combination with heavierenemylances.

Random: The better your relation with you employer is, the better chance you get higher level drops.
I think that would give it a good feeling of progression and also I imagine it would feel amazing to get a dream drop during a hard mission.
