Your mod includes a folder called Source. Where does this new folder get installed? Why isn't there any mention of this Source folder in your instructions? Sorry, but your instructions suck. You have TWO source folders. All you mention is where to put the Pak file. WTF?
Instructions to use the mod are fine. To use the mod you only need to place the pak file in the pak folder.
The source folder is the source code of the mod to be loaded in to the editor or used by other modders to be able to make things compatible between mods.
Edit: I know this was a older post, I just didn't like seeing it unanswered. *shrugs*
surprised you even awnsered him with an attitude like that. well, sorry people suck and thanks for your work to make this game just that much more enjoyable.
Your mod might muck up the market. I went into a system to look what hero Mech it offered, but I couldn't see any. After closing the game, deleting the pak and relaoding, the hero Mech, along with a bunch of other Mechs was now showing in the market place.
For some reason I am no longer able to see this in game. I have it as my first mod and it does not show up when I go into the market. I have removed it and redone it 2x now. Not sure how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.
would it be hard to add a linked button to the mech library in the single player battelmech screen? and "copy" the save loadout button from the mech library to the battlemech screen?

I would appreciate help fixing this, please, aside from just removing the mod.
