My understanding is this mod is still working even with the new DLC and update and no one has reported any issues with it. I updated and posted the source files for my mods except Zulu equipment, that one needs some love. I consider this mod finished, that being said there are always more mods to make more improvements that can be done to this game and the next game and so on.

After 70 days in the hospital my mother passed away about 2 months ago. I would see before and after work everyday so I had no free time. Lately I have been working on mods for another game but that's more to avoid the pain than a work of love. We are starting to get bills, it's about $14,000 a day for 70 days and medicare only covers so much. I lost my life's saving last year and have been working my ass off to try and rebuild, 60 to 80 hours a week. So yeah life is hard right now. Sorry I needed to vent a little.
I am glad you guys enjoy my mods so much I put a lot of work and love into them.
I was able to download and extract from zip so it may be on your end but just incase I did re-upload for you. I also added a .zip version instead of .rar as an opitional file in case that helps.
This mod is compatible with SLDF Upgrades, Smaller Upgrade Traits both wonderful mods and any other mod for that matter. They are part of what gave me the Idea. I haven't done any more work with trait trees yet but I do have ideas floating in my head.
Nice idea for a mod. Now that we have melee, I could suggest changing one category for: HERO PUNCH +50% melee damage. ... One question: I salvaged one mech in Operation GALAHAD (not even a hero) in the new DLC and the entire HERO career was unlocked. Is this how it is supposed to be?
I like it. Messing with a tree that has already been unlocked can cause problems so a new game or new version would be needed so adding it to this might not happen anytime soon but will keep it in mind.
It has no requirements and should work with all, Vanilla, YAML, and Merctech/Piratetech but I have not played Merctech/Piratetech yet so I don't know if they changed anything to traits.

Unlocked by doing any 1 Mech Collector mission. I don't speak german so forgive the google translate.
