11-1-2022 Update for new YAML version 0.31 Everything working again, Unobtanium (now green like most equipment, I miss the black). With all that has been added to YAML in the last year and a half there is a lot that could be reworked and improved but not sure if I'll ever get around to it.

Hardened-Ferro 3047 (Clan 3055)

Combining the Toughness of Hardened Armor and the weight savings of Ferro-Fibrous, resulting in twice as much protection per point as Standard Armor, but only weighs 75% more instead of 100%. Uses 14 critical slots.

Clan is 60%. 7 critical slots but more expensive.

I was trying for balance Ferro-Fibrous adds 12% more armor, hardened doubles the weight so 12% doubled is 24% added 1% to make a nice 25% reduction in weight penalty. Like wise clan Ferro-Fibrous is 20% doubled to 40%.

Reinforced-Endo 3057

Endo steel Structure that has been reinforced to sustain twice as much damage like Reinforced Structure but with only half the weight increase. Requires 14 critical slots.

Clan is 7 critical slots but more expensive.

Light Endo

7 slots half weight reduction of endo steel

Heat! Heat Sink Safety Override, Enlarged Heat sinks, Heat banks, Improved heat banks (3045) Total Cooling System (2.0 3050)

Heat Sink Safety Override

Fusion engines require 10 heat sinks to be properly cooled. Disabling these safety protocols is generally not a good idea that can lead to overheating, explosions, high repair bills and just plain dangerous situations. But then you didn't become a mercenary to sit behind a desk and play safe video games when your boss isn't looking.   Overrides the need for 1 heat sink, explodes when destroyed.

YAML added the 10 Heat sink requirement so I added a safety override because I need that 1 ton damn it lol!

Rapid Coolant Lines NEW 1.3    0.5 Ton, 1 Slot, 0 Heat, 0.3 Heat dissipation      Engine slots Only

Enlarged Heat Sink MKI     0.5 Ton, 2 Slot, 0.7 Heat, 0.07 Heat dissipation Now fits in Engine slots
Enlarged Heat Sink MKII    1 Ton, 4 Slot, 1.8 Heat, 0.18 Heat dissipation
Enlarged Heat Sink MKIII   1 Ton, 6 Slot, 2.2 Heat, 0.22 Heat dissipation

Rapid Coolant Lines focus on quickly exhausting heat but offer no capacity for holding heat. They are light but have to connect directly to the mech's engine so they can only be placed in engine slots.

Enlarged Heat Sinks if you can't make it better make it bigger! A bulkier heat sink that does not fit engine slots but is more efficient than Single Heat sinks.  Both dissipates heat from the Mech and allows a greater build up of heat before shutdown occurs.

Heat Bank MK I          1 Ton, 1 Slot, 4 Heat
Heat Bank MK II         2 Ton, 2 Slot, 9.5 Heat
Heat Bank MK III        3 Ton, 3 Slot, 15 Heat, 0.05 Heat dissipation
3045
Improved Heat Bank MK I      0.5 Ton, 1 Slot, 5 Heat, 0.05 Heat dissipation
Improved Heat Bank MK II     1.5 Ton, 1 Slot, 10 Heat, 0.05 Heat dissipation
Improved Heat Bank MK III    2.5 Ton, 2 Slot, 15 Heat, 0.1 Heat dissipation

I want MK III to be the best and worth getting if you can but the others viable. I get tired of loading up endless heat sinks. Might add clan versions later.

Total Cooling System         5 Ton, 8 Slot, 15 Heat, .8 Heat dissipation
3050
Total Cooling System 2.0           5 Ton, 8 Slot, 20 Heat, 1 Heat dissipation

Taking what has been learned from both Heat banks and Enlarged Heat sinks this massive cooling system is the best of both worlds an all in one that's all you need! However because of it's massive size, hard to mass produce technology, high coast, and lack of demand, not many have taken a liking to it making them kind of rare. Most mechs just don't need that much cooling but if you do these are worth searching out. Explodes when destroyed.

I wanted these to be rare but it's not working correctly so I just made them common in V1.2

Z Zentactic Foam

"These are intended as a way to modify weight to your liking. Like half weight jump jet or lighter MASC, or you just think something should be half a ton less this is an option to adjust the game to your preference."

Syntactic Foam is a metal alloy made with bubbles in it, lighter than water but very strong it's a new material used for making boats. In 0.01(+ and -) 0.25, 0.5, 1, 3, and 5 tons, all 0 slots. mostly I was using to adjust things to my liking. I believe Endo steel, Ferro-Fibrous, changing engines and the like should have been in the base game, or things like I prefer half weigh jump jets because they are not worth the tons but want to use TTAI and don't know what he adjusted to them. IT'S YOUR GAME PLAY IT HOW YOU WANT!!!

New 1.3 added Z Zentactic Foam micro +1 & -1

"Sometimes you get that annoying odd .99 or .98 tons, well now you can fix it and get 1 more point of armor. This model reduces weight by one hundredth
(0.01)."

+++ Note from the Author +++
I did not expect this to be the item most commented on. Some feel it's to cheaty for a mod trying for balance while other say they liked the fact that it coast no slots as it's easy enough to run out of slots. I hear both sides one even suggested having both Zentactic foam and Z tonnage booster but i don't want both. What I go back to is my original intention was to allow the player to adjust weight to their liking with out being penalized you shouldn't have to lose slots to correct something so I'm going back to 0 slots. These are not meant for you to just load up on to lower weight if that is what  you want I recommend other mods like Nutsack's Dishonest Emporium, X Tech Equipment, that are better suited for it. ODWK's Emporium of Junque also has Endo and Ferro scrap you can use to lighten your mech. These are all great mods and great options depending on what you are looking for. In the end I'm only handing you a tool it's up to you how and what you use it for.

Unobtanium

In Light, Medium, Heavy, and Assault based on 20T, 40T, 60T, 80T respectively for their intended mech class.
Unobtanium Small    4 Slots, 1% Weight Reduction, 1.43% Endo Steel Equivalent
Unobtanium Medium7 Slots, 2.5% Weight Reduction, 2.5% Endo Steel Equivalent
Unobtanium Large   10 Slots, 4% Weight Reduction, 3.57% Endo Steel Equivalent
Unobtanium Huge    12 Slots, 5% Weight Reduction, 4.29% Endo Steel Equivalent

Unobtanium a room temperature superconductor with an extremely strong magnetic field. Modifying a mech's fusion engine with an opposed magnetic charge they repel each other effectively lifting some of the mech's weight.

I used endo steel as a stating point. Endo steel is 14 slots for 5% of mech weight making each slot about 0.357. I wanted the smallest size to be worse than endo and the larger to be better, at that point it takes a whole side torso. These are meant for you to load up.

Double and Huge ammo Bins

Double Ammo Bin, 1 Ton 3 slots double the ammo.
Huge Ammo Bin, 3 tons 3 slots 5 times the ammo, adds 2,000,000 to C-bill cost for the 2 tons and 2 slots not used.

Some times 1 ton is not enough so I applied double heat sink idea to ammo. Huge bins so you don't have to load up so much, I got LRMs for days. I don't like just 2X or 4X, doesn't seem balanced to me. Your critical slots are a resource meant to be used just like tons. Now all correctly named.

Optional files for Zulu ammo only has double and Huge ammo bins. Zulu ammo is included in main file and not needed if you have Zulu Equipment.
Zulu ammo for YAW and YAW Clan check them out. Optional Zulu ammo YAW is in addition to main file.
