You made a mistake in your description/analysis. Even though it's listed as 600 rpm, the listed damage is the DPS. Can you imagine if each flamer did 20 damage and 10 heat per second? An AC20 of damage and an ERLLs worth of heat per second each? No, the vanilla version is 2 dps and .5 hps, yours are 1 and 1, not 10 and 10.
Criticisms aside, we're on totally the same page in terms of how we've modded flamers.

In the future would it be possible to change the infantry death animation to be the one from laser weapons? rather than them just getting thrown back in the air? I just feel it would fit SOOOO much better with flames. >:)
I enjoy the idea of setting people on fire so I will try this mod and let you know what I think. In conjunction with scary infantry this could be a hoot.

I agree that would be more fitting but I havn't played with infantry and I don't know anything about animations.
