About this mod

Adds several canon mech variants to the game. DLC not needed.

Permissions and credits
Adds several canon mech variants to the game for existing chassis.  DLC not needed for these, although I'm planning to release a second one which features variants that do need DLC.  None of these mechs replace existing in game ones, and engine DHS fix has already been applied where needed, so it should not conflict with other mods.  However, if you have anything modifying the mech's skins, that is a possible conflict source.

Putting DLC content into a separate file for now.  Moved everything back into one file.  It wound up being more work than it was saving to have them separate.  You can still install it without the DLC, you just won't see the mechs that require DLC or DLC equipment.

If you're using Lore-Based Mech Variants as well, load this mod first.

*ER Medium and Small Lasers replaced with the regular version.  If you're using a weapon mod though (i.e. YAW) then you can just replace them with the correct ones in the Mechlab.

The intro dates for anything past 3050 have been fudged into the 40s to allow for easier gameplay.

1.5 Update:
-Fixed AS7-S DHS and added a missing heat sink to AS7-DAN.

With the helpful feedback of several people, I have made some changes and fixes
-Updated the Mod name to be a little clearer when it's in a list.  It now goes as CanonMechVariety.
-Fixed mech attributes so they will properly show up if you have the MechAttributeViewer mod installed.
-Added 5 new mech variants (Rifleman, Urbanmech, Vindicator)

Oh, I don't have all the camo patterns unlocked for all the mechs, but in poking around I found that most faction specific ones are just palette swaps of commonly available ones.  So if you want any of the below, just pick the equivalent and change the colours to suit.  I'm adding them in as I go, but it's likely that many of the earlier mechs still don't have all of these.
