    It doesnt appear this is ever going to be updated.  is there anyone that knows of an unofficial version someone made, or someone that can be contacted that would be interested in making an unofficial version of this mod that affects all the mechs with upgraded engines?

    Somebody on the Steam forum is offering to provide the DLC to the author so that this mod can be updated.

    Pretty good deal. What say you, author? We need our proper DHS's again lol

    Could someone please check if a mod like this is even needed anymore? Perhaps PGI finally fixed their mistake?

    A superlative mod when it still worked.  PGI should really make this vanilla as it follows the source material. 

    I don't normally do this, but since the author doesn't seem to be in a hurry to update this mod, I would like to mention there is an updated alternative:

    Ok, I've tried to add a comment to the Steam workshop, as the author there has stated that he doesn't own the DLC to make a fix. However, I assume Author doesn't actually need the DLC to make a fix to the mod, as Melee is added as a free update. Hope he will see this message!

      He won't be able to add the new variants if he doesn't own the DLC though, so mechs like the Marauder 2R won't get the doubles that they should.

    Can we get an update for the Kestrels update please?

    This mod is a must-have IMO

    is technically working in latest patch, but it overrides the melee components of mechs.

      I can confirm that activating this mod will hide melee weapons on some Mechs. Tested it on Nightstar... with this mod he has no melee weapons. Without, it has.

    I wonder if anyone else is having a problem with heatsinks after today's update, because mine are now acting very strange indeed. I have 38 DHS in my inventory, but as soon as I add a single one to a 'Mech, then it acts like I don't have any more besides the one I just placed.

    Edit: Ah, so it appears to be a UI bug introduced by the latest patch. Good ol' PGI!

      Not just heat sinks but ammo too.

      Edit: So it's not a mod issue then.
