has a lot of changes to explosions, impacts, and the critical explosion is inspired from Enhanced Critical. (can use this link and override the critical explosion from this mod if it's too performance heavy). ~
I've deleted all my AppData, only have this and Mod Options active, setting are all maxed and missile trails are gone. Was working 2 or 3 weeks ago. No idea what's up. Any help going to redownload and put in a fresh file just to see.
I have a load order like no other haha so its working for me.. I'll have to load up just Volatile to make sure all the assets needed are being put into the mod.. my guess is that a texture is in my other mod and that's why its working for me.
Version 1.0.6 was also broken for me. I had weird flickering light effects all over the sky. New version 1.0.7 is up and running fine here.
[EDIT]....missile trails disapear at the same time when the rockets impact on ground. But that happens only in east (right side) or south (down side) direction of the map. Then I can look left or right to make the trails popping in and out again. Weird.
For now I'm rolling back to 1.0.5 ,because 1.0.6 has the -flickering lights in the sky bug- for me. :/
[EDIT2]...The problem must be on my end. I just noticed that 1.0.5 has now the same issue with vanishing trails.
I'll debate it but I need more details but may be a far cry tbh.. I'm hoping to add some real polish to what I have and then finally beat this game. Can dm me them on discord. Merciless20
Strange. I deactivated all my Mods except Mod Options, YAML and Volatile and it still happens to me. Looks like the smoke plume isn´t loaded correctly.
I switched back to volatile 1.2.2 and that works just fine.
Has it maybe something to do with the engine.ini ? Missing or wrong parameters ? My workaround for now is to just override Volatile by this mod: Enhanced Critical.
What ever you did, between version 1.0.2 and 1.0.3 .... the black squares are gone for me. But I miss the blue and orange glowing all over the place, when a core explodes. I also use UVaW. No vonBiomes.
The explosion was working in my Mechlab mod and thought Volatile was overriding the mechlab.. had to rebuild the whole explosion. Can use Enhanced Critical and have his mod override Volatile.
But i would just like to sugest that you update the description page and add some information on what the difference is in the "1k" one and the normal volatile, also all the pictures are dead and it overall just looks kinda silly to be honest, Thanks!
(i still have no idea what the difference is except the 1k one is 800meg)
haha, I hear you and was thinking of that earlier. I'll try and dress it up and get the changelogs up to date.. I just have my axe to the grind stone trying to finish 2 other projects too. I do plan on trimming the fat on the file size as I have some textures and materials in there that I haven't used yet.
Is this mod visual AND mechanical? Game says it has conflict with Yet Another Weapon in Projectile.uasset. If I let it override Volatile, will I still have tasty explosion visuals?

Ok went back to 1.0.6 and it's working again.

NVM it was something with the audio mod lol
The exhaust flame from the Arrow IV missile added by Yet another weapon is gone. In the update.
Rolling back to 1.0.5 with no other changes fixes the issue. Don't know if any other problems arise or not.

I use this mod with vonBiomes and Ultra visuals an weather.

But, it is a bit strange that the trail disappears immediately as soon as the missile hits.
