    Idk what you're all are talking about. Works perfectly fine on my machine with latest DLC.
    I can place Large Lasers into Medium Laser slots and the same with all other hardpoints.

      You're missing the point. We want to be able to put LRMs where lasers used to be, PPCs where autocannons were. Like the actual tabletop game let you do back in the day. The "energy hardpoint" or "autocannon hardpoint" crap is ridiculous garbage, and this mod let us get around the silliness.

      Because in actual battletech lore, until near the clan invasion, "modified" mechs were actually extremely rare and changing from one type to another similar weapon was barely doable for a long time in battletech, even actually impossible outside of the best repair and manufacturing facilities.

      oh wow I didn't realize people still used it after YAML came out will update. Nexus is not sending me emails regarding reported bugs lately, and I had not been on in a while sorry guys.

    I wish this mod was still maintained.  YAML is okay, but I wish it didn't pack the author's fan fiction along with it.

      also loaded with pointless s#*! and bloat that majority of players don't wanna deal with and general bad implementation. If it was atleast done via packages so you could pick and choose what features you want it would be a lot more tolerable and worth using just for the QOL stuff that actually works and some of the extra equipment and mech mods that only work with YAML since sadly some modders like silby stopped doing non-YAML version. 
       The damn  YTers need to  stop trying to shill the mod in videos even tough behind the scenes a lot of em hate YAML.

    installed it and it shows up in the mods menu from the title screen.. but doesnt work? probably needs to be updated for the current game version! hopefully the author shows us some love and does that! this mod makes some of the mechs that are just typically useless late game a viable option being able to equip larger late game weapons in tandem with their speed and agility

    Mod doesn't work. Outfitting a Kintaro-18 and I can't place any laser or ballistic weapons on the missile hardpoints like this mod says you can.

      You misunderstood. This mod only changes slot sizes, not the types. So a ballistic slot will always stay a ballistic slot. A small slot can mount small and medium weapons, a medium and large slot can mount all sizes of weapons. Of the same type.

      And this mod seems to work with the Kestrel Lancers DLC just fine.

    Is there a way to remove hardpoints altogether and allow to fit any quantity of weapons on any mech. Where the weight would be the only restriction

    very, VERY curious bug, easily worked around, easily avoided, but curious nonetheless. if I have this mod enabled and enter the "hire pilots" screen, clicking on a pilot to hire them throws a fatal error and CTDs before I can read the error message. if I get a good look at the error message, I'll bring it here. it MAY be related being the gog version, but I have no means of testing that.
