    I honestly wish this would make some missions spawn outside the zones since there should be at least a few say out in marian space and targeting some of the pirate regions where there are no zones.

    I've found multimissions are all consistent, so my one hesitation about the mod has been resolved. It's working great for me and I really appreciate you making it.

      I still use this mod - it's great - but it seems like it leads to floating buildings in missions if you leave the mod active. Since the difficulty of conflict zones is set at the start of the game, it is safe to deactivate the mod after your first save is generated. That will fix the floating buildings.

    Your mod is too random to use without wasting too much time trying to find a suitable difficulty level. I couldnt do it. It was so random it took me months of gameplay to find a suitable mission. My experience sucked. A way it wouldnt suck is to make several more that are less random in variability that we can swap out when our Rep gets higher. 

    For example, to ensure proper mission availability and constant challenge, we need mods whose range is from 5-40 when starting out. We need another mod from 30-60 that we can swap out when our Rep is higher. We need 50-80 and we need 70 to 100 to finish it off. That way we will only have the relevant mod for the level of Rep we need to ensure we can fly around the galaxy and take missions wherever. 

    Thanks. I'd do it myself, but I havent had any luck the last time I tried to mod this game. Blah.

      Sorry that you find the mod too difficult, but as other commenters have mentioned, that's precisely the point of the mod. You're right that it's very tough at the start of a new campaign, but it's just an unfortunate side effect of making sure that by the end, anyone using this mod can go to their preferred conflict zone to only do missions in that one area they like, such as if they have a particular love for one planetary system. This mod is definitely geared towards those who are looking for a challenge.

      As for your suggestion, unfortunately it's not possible to make it so that the mod can be swapped out that way. As stated in the mod description, all the conflict zone data is generated at the start of a new campaign. So once it's generated with the first mod, it can't be altered. I'm sure this could be done with a much more intensive mod that re-generates the conflict zone information somehow, but I'm not up to that task since it would require significant changes compared to the rather straightforward method of creating this mod the way I did.

      Thanks for the mod. I used it and had fun, but ultimately it wore on me as I couldnt find a challenge often enough. I think you misunderstood my problem. It's 3052 and my lances are all heavy and assault. I need tougher stuff.

      Could I make a request? Could you do a mod like this instead of 5-100 random difficulty, please make it 50-100. That would be a HUGE help for me and others that seek hardcore challenges. With a 50-100, I could load up anywhere from medium to assault lances and find work anywhere. Anything lower than 50 in the late game is just a waste imo. I understand that the 1st start of the campaign will be arduous as the diff levels are set from the beginning of the campaign. Thats fine. I'd love to see a custom hardcore 50-100 start everywhere!

      I'm in bit of same mindset as you on this in that I wish that the mod had wider ranges for rep levels instead of just a straight 'anything goes' stance. Like the lowest fourth of rep areas did say from 5-30, second fourth at tier at 30-60, third 70-100 and all higher at 5-100. Or at least some mix where the lowest zones topped out lower, but the gap widened rapidly from there to anything goes. It'd be a bit of a pain to sort initially and in most games I'd just make a mod myself to do it but they tied this so much to unity editing that I just don't have the inclination to figure out at least for now.

      Do appreciate this mod though for showing me it can be done.

      Try the Updated High Employment mod in conjunction with this one. It adds more missions to every planet, so with this mod it's easy to find missions of every level everywhere. Which is how these battles over planets would go, right? You'd have all kind of different size missions, and with these two mods together, that's exactly what you get ;)

    Love this mod, absolutely helps immersion to see worlds with many different difficulty missions. But I just found a new way to break it with another mod, so I thought I'd share that so others can avoid it.

    The mod was working great in my Career game until I used the New Game Plus Save Generator mod. That resets your missions so you can replay them, but also converted the career to a campaign. It did reset the map, I was moved back to Davion space, but the mix of mission difficulties disappeared and hasn't come back. 
    Just thought I'd put the word out about that. Thanks for your hard work! I look forward to using this mod on every future game too.

    Great mod! Makes a BIG difference, and feels like a real universe instead of a place designed for you. Thank you! Quick question: been playing for about 10 hours with this installed and have ONLY come across multiple-missions that are 5 or 6 missions long. Not ONE has been 2, or 3 or 4. Is this a bug, maybe something confliction with your mod? Or is this intended? 'Cause if it is.... oooffff....

      Thanks, I'm glad that you like the mod! Regarding the multi-mission generation, you must have had bad luck so far. When I tested it I seemed to get a relatively even distribution of 3-6 mission operations, and you can see all those lengths in the screenshots I posted for this mod. Keep playing and I'm sure you'll get them!

    can you add a configurable one that works say davion space for example has X amount of warzones to break them up in 1-10/11-25/26-50 and so on because i edited the config file to do so? something like that to make it less static. so one game from the other i can adjust it

      I'd second this notion.  It'd be nice to have assurance there's something to do in your area (especially in the beginning of a career or the campaign) that's falls within every difficulty band.  Good for the early campaign and career, but also good for when you're on your "B team" for a while or working on building up new pilots.

      Otherwise, it's a great mod and I like the fact that the tonnage limits were retained.  That's easy enough to add for people that want it.

      That's a neat suggestion, but while I'm sure that could be done with a more complex system, the way the game works right now it's not something I'm up to figuring out. The conflict zone data is all generated at the start of the campaign, so someone would have to figure out how to re-generate it depending on the values you change, and I have no idea how that could be accomplished in a simple and effective way.

    With the release of Heroes of the Inner Sphere, I was hoping for more variation in the new career mode with different conflict zones. Tragically you still end up just hovering around one area for eternity.

    Hope you bring this back some day. It's needed :)

      It's back! And compatible with career mode as well now, so you can find total variation in any conflict zone you'd prefer to work in.

    Happy to see you intend to update this to the DLC - having played with this mod in the past, the vanilla system just doesn't cut it for me :)
