Spread is a bit too high, even at short ranges its hard to reliably hit anything with the full burst unless you are literally on top of the enemy mech.
Lightning shotgun is an inaccurate term, the Snub-Nose fired a single projectile like a normal PPC, but it had damage loss over range in TT. Its saving grace was its insane short range, keeping max accuracy well past nearly every other weapon's short range bracket. This is still a cool mod though.
