Thanks for making this mod. Have been following that story for a while and it's pretty cool to see its (alt) tech in-game. LitePak missiles were pretty interesting early-game (I'm using YAML/YARW as well, so there was an interesting tradeoff there — LP LRMs being lighter but losing the higher missile velocity and steeper angle of regular LRMs, and LP SRMs being lighter but not being able to lock on). Though now that VIPR missiles are available, they seem to be far better than any other missile weapon outside of outright cheat mods — high damage and 2000 meter range are pretty potent.
Finally got around to installing this and Immediately found some VIPR. Amazing addition to the arsenal.
However, a few niggle: First, the VIPR doesn't count the ammo properly. At least not its alt mode ammo. When I exhausted the VIPR LRM, the ammo counter remained on zero even after I switched mode.
Second, it may be because I"m playing with YARW, but I think the VIPR need to have its firing modes shown on the HUD. I can only tell if it's in SRM or LRM mode by change of ranges in the HUD.
As i feared. I have to modify/override the weapon UI and can't just append my stuff, unfortunately and since i'm using the UI base for YAW and YARW has its own UI modifications, it doesn't work.
Haven't looked at the mod yet but that drama that got that story pushed off that forum is hilarious. Trying to argue you can use a slur for a racial group because you're not using it as a slur but instead using it to refer to the characteristics of that group's stereotypes is a wild amount of mental gymnastics.
how am i supposed to use the Laser AMS? i added one to my mech but it doesn't fire at incoming srms/lrms and it doesn't have a cooldown bar on the weapons panel
I checked and the editor somehow unliked the emitter from the LAMS. It should be fixed in 0.1.6
I also added the JumpJets though i haven't modified the vectored ones yet - they just have double burn time at the moment. The wings - in case you're wondering - will probably come later when i have more time to tinker.
I have tried your mod and its great addon but sadly its crash my carrer when i change loadout for my battlemechs sometime the game froze. It never happened before. It happened after several hours of real time playing the game. I dont complain or anything its just to inform you anyway its my fault probably i play that game to much anyway. I also forget to mention that you have to much weight penalty for some of your armor like 80 tonne or more like 80K
I've played it quite a bit and haven't had any crashes. Do you maybe have a lot of items (more than 1.2k)? The game stores items weirdly and doesn't do well with a high amount them (it stores each item in a different database entry - if you have 100 Heatsinks that's 100 entries instead of 1 with the amount of them). Selling them off until you're below that number alleviates the problems somewhat.
Concerning the armor: are you perhaps using the Hardened Armor II? If so, that one is supposed to be very very heavy when you fully armor your mech - it also gives a BIG amount of armor (you can up-armor a Locust to fully armored out medium mech levels).
to see the picture its here : mechlab Indeed i have the emporium mods and all of Yaml addon for equipement and in market the game that longer than usual but i already had that before installing your mod i just didnt notice it. Anyway thx for the tips i used to clean my unused equipement and it worked like a charm the market load up faster. For the tonnage i have taken a screen shot. see ya ;D
Hey there! Spent like seven hours playing, and while it's a shame the weapons don't show up in the stores that often, man, when they do!? They feel great. Just the four regular GreenLite Medium Lasers made a huge difference on my early game Jenner; the two saved tons were put into more armor and a single heatsink and it totally changed the way the 'Mech felt.

Seriously though, HUGELY flattering to see this Mod, and its funny because I thought about making a mod using my own weapons but then I remembered I don't know jack squat about modding things. LOL Many kudos! If I come across any other Bugs I'll DM you.

also will Corean Vectored Jump Jets be added?
It should be fixed in 0.1.6

must have been an editor hiccup somehow because it had the same config as all the other armors
