OK can somebody explain to me why I periodically get a hard system crash? Like there are days when game works fine. And then there are days when I get this hard crash which RESTARTS(sound also glitches and it only happens as the game is about to load in main menu) my PC and to add salt to the wound ALL settings are reset. I am talking from graphical, gameplay and regular game settings to MOD settings in mod options. EVERYTHING resets! Hell I even have to re-accept eula and s#*!, as if the game freshly installed.
Its driving me nuts to the point when I am considering dropping mw5 for another 1-2 years....
Excellent LOC tool! I have a small issue with a certain mod that has no pak file but only json on purpose, but LOC gives me error about it every time I load it up or make changes to the mod list. It gets quite annoying. Could you add toggle in options whether it gives error notification about such cases or not?
I reinstalled windows and after which reinstalled my mods. When I opened up this mod it takes me to stteings but the settings menu is incomplete. When it first comes up I can see the word Path but it cuts the rest of and then under that is the Save and Cancel buttons. If I move the window to another screen the whole window is blank. When I move it back it shows Platform but no Save or Cancel buttons. Any help would be awesome!
As it is now, if you use Vortex to download the mods from Nexusmods, LOC will show the URL to the mods' Nexusmods page. However just from the pure mod files that you have manually downloaded/extracted from Nexusmods or any other source (as .zip file) it is not possible to reliably determine their Nexusmods ID. If you think of an automatic Nexusmods downloader/updater - i don't have this currently planned as a feature.
Hello, is there any chance or plan to have it working on Linux also? It seems that .Net can now run on Linux, I wonder if you can distribute the `.exe` version compatible for the .Net runtime for linux, that would be awesome. Thanks again for this project.
Thanks for the feedback. Linux support is out of scope what i have time for. LOC relies heavily on WinForms which is a Windows only namespace. I guess your only chance to get it running on Linux currently is through Wine. If you like to contribute, fork or just want to compile yourself, the source code is available under the GPL3 on GitHub.
You are not alone. Someone just reported this as well. Certainly a false positive for whatever reason. Nexusmods sends the file over to Virustotal before anyone can even download it (see the green checkmark besides the download). Here is their report for 3.3. It checks out fine.
Just uploaded the 3.3 file and it says "MW5-LoadOrderConfigurator.dll" instead of "1800689-d75635c538ddf5ea946434f153c39c69" like the report you post. Lots of IP's and interactions, created files and other things...
the 3.1 (that I'm still using) gives this report and have a lot less of "behaviors"
There is nothing concerning i see in both reports you posted. They are pretty much identical to the previously posted reports. However for some reason in your 3.2 report there were way less security tests being done by Virustotal, that's why the list is shorter.
The report i posted is the 'official' report from Nexusmods. You can see them on the download page when clicking the green checkmark icon. They don't have a name because they assign a random ID when they scan (all) files contained in a zip file.
Thanks a lot for the clear explanation and support. I understand now. English is not my main language (as you can read) and sometimes all these stuff mix in my head here. I will start using the green checkmark from now on :) Will install 3.3! Thanks for your patience with us.
I dislike to be that guy, but I got to ask, because I am genuinely curious, historically I have had problems getting .NET 8.0 Framework to be recognized. As a long time MW5 Mod organizer, what does this mod do differently? Or maybe what is the benefit of using your mod IYO over MW5MO?
After using the old LOMv1 mod manager and before i decided to start LOC i just wanted something more reliable with some additional features. At the time i looked at all the available mod managers (LOMv2, LOTS, MO, Rothes). For me personally MO quickly fell through since it didn't have a convenient way to share load orders with friends. That was an instant deal breaker for me. Therefore i only briefly used MO at the time and i can't answer your question beyond that feature with certainty.

I wanted to konw, if there is a webpage, where i can post my Loadorder. I am not sure, what the right place is for each Mod.
I am glad for any help.
Thanks.

Thanks and sorry for bother, just want to be sure.
