    Hey kodiak was wondering at some point if you could re do the animation for the mastodon walking to something of how the atlas walks i think it would look more visually appealing. Also I'm having an issue with it not spawning in yaml for some reason and have only been able to find one example so far and I'm pretty far into the time line at 3075. other then that the mod is awesome thanks for your hard work.

      No, animating is a timeconsuming process and I'm happy with how the Mastodon looks right now, maybe in the future I will take another look at it but I'm moving onto new mech projects.

      As for the spawn rateI'll look into it, the Mastodon is currently set to spawn in 3052 and it should be fairly common for the Clan faction only.

      no problem was just a suggestion. and the spawning idk either I'm now in 3081 and haven't found anything I'm running the yaml version i will switch and see if it changes

    I don't know what it is. But something is triggering my virus protection. I wonder, can you reload this mod? Just curious is all. I even tried to turn off my protection, and I still can't download this mod.

    Hey, KodiakJ, congratulations on getting this one out.  I know it's one you put a lot into.  Looks great and has some interesting looking builds to play with, along with a nice selection of paints.  Look forward to playing around with it.  Assuming it won't be long before it's merged into Brian Cache mod?

    First impression feedback:
    Maybe go ahead and leave it available for FRR in 3055 for the YAML version, since it is a Ghost Bear Dominion mech aka when Clan Ghost Bear kind of told the rest of the clans to F off and became a republic by merging with the FRR.  Joint development kind of makes it a FRR mech, too, within MW5's faction limitations.

    Also, no variants have AMS, which PGI/YAML standard is to have at least one AMS hardpoint on a mech.  Consider 1 in the RT on each variant, and then give the prime 1-2 in each ST (a 4-AMS assault mech would be AMAZING, just saying) because it's the most hardpoint limited variant.  Just food for thought.

    As always, the work you're putting out is very sincerely appreciated.  Thank you for the efforts put in to improve and add more life to MW5.

      Hey Caratar

      Mastodon will be inthe next Brian Cache update. I'm taking a little extra time testing this one, because last time I released the BC Mod the Fire Moth was missing some animation references that caused a CTD error, it's easy to miss in the editor since the editor will pick up those references from the stand-alone mod and use them in it's place.

      Yeah I take your pointI actually have considered doing this for the Fire Moth as well since the Bears are the largest produces/users of that mech in the Inner Sphere. If I'm absolutely honest I'm surprised the clan faction wasn't split into sub factions. I dunno if that is possible or not, but there used to be references to individual clans but they appear to have been removed now.

      I Had planned for AMStoo but I never finalised the assets for it because the weapons where stressing me out, I had re-made them once because me and my friend agreed that Mastodon Ds arms looked like d**dos so I spent a week re-modelling the whole lot of them and importing them into the editor only to spend another week re-importing and re-UV Mapping them over
      and over, and then re-reimporting them ONLY to find that I named some f***ing bones wrong and missiles where flying off w/e the hell they liked! Anyway point is the weapon assets stressed me out too much that I just wanted to move on at that point and get it released. AMS Will hopefully be In the next update. (sorry for the ramble :))

      Hey, no worries on the rant.  You've earned it after that hassle.  Positive side, they're out the door and working.  Played around a bit with them and it's a nice mech.  Good to have another 95t chassis, and a very solid one at that.

      Looking forward to the future updates; and as always a very sincere thank you for all the efforts you've put into MW5.

    Hi Kodiak ... just a heads up my pooter flagged this as having a virus and terminated the download. YAML edition just in case that matters.
    Tried again defender cuts in ....still no luck.

      I get the same, also with the other recent updates for the Turkina and the Firemoth.

      I think this is a false positive, Nexus has given it a green light for a virus scan. I've also downloaded scanned the files my self and didn't detect anything. I used Avast and Malwarebytes.

      Hi Kodiak ...well don't know what you did but it is downloading just fine now ... didn't think for a second it was a virus just thought you should know it was being flagged...thanks for another fantastic chassis.
