Interesting, i wonder...ill have to check if i can even fix that, due to the guns length it may not be possible(as it pokes outside of an internal engine item)
On my screen when the LOD changes it swaps out parts of the model with centurion parts. Shoulder cannon turns into a right arm, left arm gun disappears and gains the centurion shield. Left shoulder gains a fin.

thanks for your effort and the mod!
I realized there might be some issue with the LOD. Everything renders fine for about 20 meters, after that, half of the main gun goes missing.
