Can I use this to remove master from a mod, I was looking at a mod idea and had to extra esm's loaded to see
if I needed them for my idea to work or not. I got interrupted and when I came back I made some edits to my mod
forgetting what I had loaded, now I'd like to remove them fron that mods master list if thats possible.

@Lordofharld,  I downloaded it manually and extracted it to a folder in my Skyrim dir, then made a shortcut to the exe
    and all is fine

Maybe use NMM to uninstall and try a manual install without NMM as I did

Sorry if that older tham me lol and you been sorted for ages

im sure this is a great cleaner and all because i have had several major issuse with big quests leading to destruction of my game adn quest. But when i download it it automatically connects to my ksyrim nexus mod manager and it is the only one working therefore i cannot use it, any ideas?

Thank you Gopher for all you do for the Modding Community. From New Vegas to Skyrim I've gotten a lot of use out of your excellent mods. And your videos are great. This one in particular has proven most helpful to me. Am looking forward to your Merged Patch tutorial. Will be interested to see how merged patch creation may differ from FNVEdit to TES5Edit (if at all) and to get your take on it. Hoping you might touch on the difference between a Merged Patch and a Manual Patch Plug-in and when it's appropriate to use which (or both). Been somewhat of a source of confusion to me. Thanks again Kind Sir and keep up the great work <img class=">

Great video, very clear and easy to follow , might be worth mentioning BOSS is a good reference tool to check if these files need cleaning.
    Thx Gopher.

I thought ths was really good and wanted to find any other instructional videos you did but can't seem to locate any. Could you post a link to them if there are any more? Thanks.

Edit: Nevermind. NAVM forms aren't cleaned, so rebuilding NAVI is not necessary.

Thank you Gopher for making this and your other video's. They are very helpful. In fact I started experimenting with TESVedit after watching your video.

I do have a question, can the editor convert esp files to esm files? I'm asking because I can't get rid of the grey face bug when moving esp files to another computer. Nps's look fine on the computer I did the fac Gen save. But when moved to another computer, there faces are grey and I have to ctrl-F4 again to get it to work. I heard converting esp to esm fixes these issues.

Well I have both videos available so when we find out which is best I can hide one of them

Noticed an error in procedure when cleaning Hearthfires.esm. You don't want to load Dawnguard for that. Hearthfire does not require it and loading Dawnguard will result in an incomplete cleaning if they happen to overlap something.

Hearthfires.esm should be loaded only with Skyrim.esm and Update.esm.

It won't cause any catastrophic failure it just may miss some ITMs it would otherwise catch.
I was still researching that, and since I posted on the guides (which I already changed) to load Dawnguard, then that's why he loaded it that way. At this point I'm not even going to go back and test whether or not there is one more ITM found or not because it makes sense to do it like that anyway. (Without Dawnguard)
