Just found both of these mods and I much appreciate the change to the troop trees. Does the Trainer skill still level them up, or is it  just the discount from the base silverstag mod?

The leveling should work like vanilla Silverstag, including Trainer skill, because I have not modified those, iirc.
I'm not sure I understand the question about the discount. The upgraded troops are cheaper to get than vanilla Silverstag direct buy, but need more XP to upgrade. Check this link for a more detailed explanation of what I have tried to do --> https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?threads/silverstag-plus-for-those-who-want-native-style-branching-troop-trees-a-small-contribution.363524/

PS - If the link to the taleworlds forum is not allowed, it may be removed. You can visit the Silverstag topic on taleworlds and check the Silverstag Plus sub-topic for more details

Are these features optional features? Meaning can I turn off the troop tree options but keep turned on the other features and fixes. And if not can you make it optional or upload the files for those options?

Not optional. I can't make them optional because I am not so good with scripting. It's been a long time since I worked on this mod or anything to do with M&B Warband, so I'm not sure I will get back to it anytime soon. Sorry for the inconvenience!

In retrospect, if I remember correctly, the troop change definitions are only in the troops.txt file. What you can try to do is, unpack the files, delete troops.txt, and then copy the remaining files over the Silverstag files. Please remember to backup the individual files though before you copy over them, in case something goes wrong. If it works correctly, It should give you the rest of the modifications except the troops. If it does work, please note that purchase cost and XP cost for all troops will be much higher than vanilla Silverstag, because those are in the scripts, and can't be changed without editing the script files.

In any case, if that doesn't work, I apologize in advance. Regards - SL
