I like this mod, thank you for the work done!
However i found that in my game Lithuania and Poland going to war with each other, which is unrealistic and unhistorical.
And a little thing which i found strange is that bent bullets more profitable to buy since there is a little damage debuff and the cost is like 30% lower than normal bullet costs.
Is work on this mod going on or 1.7 is the final version?

    Holy cheeses!
I can't believe it's the mod I've been looking for all this time! Sure, there are/ were other mods set in eastern Europe, but most of them aren't/ weren't very good, or don't/ didn't feature Moldavia. I've yet to play this mod, but I hope it's what I was looking for.
    Дякую!

Actually my first commenting mod ever.

First of all - let me say, that like gentleman before me, i love the idea of the mod. 16th and 17th centuries are my favourite settings for Warband mods, and it was hard to find one that focuses more on eastern Europe. Finally I can try to lead my impoverished noble in cossacks uprising against Polish Crown :P.
Yes, map is definetly one of strongest pros of your mod. It's very atmoshperic. Unlike Borisaurus my experience is , that factions are actually quite balanced - Moldavia in my game manages quite well (they almost took Lublin from Poland).
And overall - it feels that there is a lot work and above all - thought put into this mod. It definetly deserves more recognition, i think it would be worth to put it on moddb also, i think it is more popular for searching for warband mods. :)

Now, next part of this post is mostly suggestions and what i personaly would like to see in this mod. Obviously - i realise that modding is A LOT of hard work, and what i would like - not necesarry anyone else would like. So i hope you will not find it offensive, but, better say such things because perhaps it would lead you to some idea for further development (and i REALLY hope this mod is not dead, it easily became of great interest to me). :)

    1. What puts me off many mods is that there is not much besides of fighting. I think it is worth to implement some activities (especially with such amazing map) - great example is Nova Aetas that, there is quite some activities there that lets you immerse in the world. Crafting, prestige system. IMO exploring areas works extremely well in Warband (huge part of it for me is first person camera with visible body, don't know why). And with such map, you could really "hide" some interesting locations here. And quests. And events. Generally World of Ice and Fire and Nova Aetas are mods that do it great (i will reference to them a lot, as somewhat i have feeling that if you try some ideas from these mods, you would create something great).

    2. Ability to create "permanent" camps and castles. Again - World of Ice And Fire done it great. And again - with such big and detailed map it would be useful. Especially when you wanna lead your band of cossack brigands it would add immersion. :)

    3. Actually simillar to above - ability to get property in cities, with chest and interior. Nova Aetas did it excelent. Would add immersion and be very useful :)

    4. You have two (those are i found for now) great quests - with werewolf and lost book. IMO Eastern Europe legends and beliefs are great base for adding quests with "eastern" flavour. Like Polish sorcerer Twardowski for example, or some folk believes. I'm not saying to add some magic system nor to make Witcher from it, but some more flavour would really improve mod. The main con of native Warband for me is that there is not much exploration of the map. And you can hide there A LOT of interesting thins. Stomping on some cursed forest or smal castle with vampire inside would be great. and i think the main work here is to create interesting narration for such areas.

    5. Small things - mod could use some more armors, clothing and weaponry, have to admint, after five minutes of playing i just had port some kuntushes from other mods. :) Also scenes in towns and castles.

    6. In general - more interactions with game's world. :)

I think for now it is all. If I would thought of something more I let myself write here. And as i have no idea what way you would like to develop this mod, much of what i wrote might be worthless for you. I also realise that it is easy for me to write these thoughts, while from moder point of view it is shitload of work. Regardless - for me personally this mod has potential to be equal to such as World of Ice and Fire and Nova Aetas. If you add flavour and more interactions within world, as you created great foundation for such things. :)

    Warm greetings from Poland!
    Ciepłe pozdrowienia z Polski! :)

P.S. Also it is nice to finally see mod with Gdańsk city, and Bug river in it. :P
P.P.S. Sorry for long, and perhaps a bit chaotic post. :)

Ok. so i spent more time with your mod and it easily became one of my favourites. Great job, i really look forward to see how you decide to develop "Honour and Glory", it has great potential. :)

      Two minor things:

-I think bank is bugged. My account is reseting to 0 constantly.
-Guild masters missions are bugged also i think. Every time i took it just after leaving town i got message that bandits i was supposed to kill were already killed. Also their "type" was strange (sometimes they were one of neutral parties i think).

Overall - great mod, you put a lot of heart into it. Seriously, put it on moddb so more people can find it. ;)

Thank you very much for your commenting. The mod isn't dead and right now I am working on the troop trees, while my teammate is editing the scenes. We don't seek any additional recognition right now 'cause of some bugs in the mod. Maybe, after next release I will upload the mod to ModDB and Taleworlds forum.
Those are very interesting suggestions you've made, but there are some issues with implementing them. First of all, we don't have 3d-modellers and almost all of the models in mod are OSP/retextured/edited in BRF/other free models from the Internet, so adding more authentic gear is a real problem. However, I've managed to find some new stuff for the next release.
Adding "some activities" to the mod like Nova Aetas has is problem for us to, as nobody in our small team has proficient skills in python coding.
Ability to create "permanent" camps and castles - yeah, will try to add this as soon as possible.
But I have to admit, that this project was started as 'classic' M&B mod, without any huge gameplay changes - it's just simply not our goal for the Honour and Glory. But I always try to use any interesting additions, that won't destroy the original feeling of the game.

BTW, many players consider our mod as a clone of WFaS (truly they are mistaken, these are totally different things). But actually, it was inspired by another russian mod, which have been quite popular with the polish audience. It called "Wiek Smuty" (Age of Turbulence).

      P. S. Sorry for my terrible english, but I'm trying not to use google translator)

Thank you for your answer. ;)

I'm really happy to hear that you're working on this great mod. I wrote these thoughts of mine knowing, that they're damn hard to implement (and i know nothing of coding, so i'ts probably twice as hard as i think). It's just that your mod is already great and original warband gameplay for me got... Repeatable really quick. Such additions expand possibility of roleplaying into game's world. I also realise that's just my taste and people may play it mostly for battles, for example; Which of course is cool too.. ;) As for "Wiek Smuty" - first time I hear of it. Never played original Mount and Blade. :)

I also don't know how hard it is to add new locations with some "story" and quests to the map. HOWEVER if you were interested, i could look for some folk beliefs and stories that could be used as inspiration, and i could try to write something out of it.. It wouldn't (imo) require a lot of modeling of completely new stuff. As before i was quite vague in what i wrote i'll try to give an example - there was folk belief that shepperds were kind of sorcerers. And as it happens - they quite often used dead bodies for their magic. That could be good base for quest in village, where bodies from cementery are dissapearing. At the end you find that damn shepperd (obviously it's just vague description). You wrote that a lot of people think your mod is something simillar to With Fire and Sword, so perhaps you meant that you're not interested in adding such quests. In that case, nevermind, I just made such suggestion because i have ton etnographic materials like above (and a lot of it from Ukraine region). It's your mod though, and i don't want to seem that i'm imposing something on you. Mod is great anyway. :) And perhaps adding "new activities" as i vaguely wrote before will be easier in Bannerlord (when it comes out in year 3020. And when I have PC that would run it in year 3144).

About new stuff - perhaps other mod creators would let you use some of their assets. Europe in Flames has some good stuff, it's mostly taken from with fire and sword though. And i don't know how it looks from legal point. Don't know how friendly modding scene is, but perhaps if they saw how well crafted your mod is, they would share some stuff. :)

About World of Fire and Sword - somehow never got into that. Even though I look for settings in XV, XVI and XVII centuries. I kinda felt that it wasn't very deep in gameplay. And kinda like your mod more already. :) Although i never tried story missions there (i think there are some), mostly because I'm allergic to Sienkiewicz and it's heavy based on his writing (bleh).

And sorry for my english too. Btw. - about google translator - I liked your mod to the point, that i checked out your "Nova Sich" forum, with help of google translator. It translates from ukrainian to polish suprisingly well. :D

And sorry for writing this much, i hope i'm not being annoying. I'ts just I'm really happy to finally find mod that centers on Ukraine's and Eastern Europe's region (and has gunpowder).

      Warm greeting again. :)

EDIT: Forgot to mention - found Brzęczyszczykiewicz in one tavern. Good one. :) And actually some of i mention above is like that - for example one interesting character hidden somewhere, but stuff like this adds to mods. IMHO. :)

I love the idea of the Livonian war and especially the emergence of the Cossacks, but the implementation of the mod so far is sub-par, to say the least. This game is similar to Mount and Blade: With Fire and Sword, with changes in the map and factions.

Before I get started with the Cons, I will list the Pros.
-Good economy system, easy to buy productive enterprises
    -Reasonable tournament win money(ducats)
-Outstanding tournament fighting duels, great combat AI

Here are my problems with the mod:

-It's difficult to find someone honorable.
Now I know, it usually is difficult to find an honorable person in Mount and Blade: Warband, but I've yet to meet someone who is honorable! I've had to make a sheet to keep track of who's honorable or not, but alas, they are all not honorable enough to lose relations when giving away land. Every vassal I meet is strictly martial - right down the middle, meaning they still have strict relations.

-Rarely getting tasks from village leaders, vassals, and kings.
Village leaders, though in villages that are poor, desolate, and neglected rarely ever give tasks in order to increase prosperity. The only way to boost is waiting a LONG time without having them raided or build mills and buildings, taking time and money. Vassals and Kings almost never give you tasks if you are a vassal yourself, meaning you cannot increase relations easily unless you go into battle alongside them, which is near impossible during lasting times of peace. This leads to insane difficulty persuading others to support you as marshal, to gain land, or to rebel with you.

    -Unbalanced faction sizes and power:
It's simple: the power between factions is very unbalanced, so nations such as the Crimean Khanate, the Zaproshian Cossacks, and the Swedes will stay small and almost never gain land that wont get taken back in the same war. Marshals of these small factions cannot muster the forces to protect their own lands and from my own experience, do not even raid enemy lands! The long-term process just leads to declining economy and even less troops. In the case of the Cossacks, my favorite faction, the nation just remained inactive and the villages got poorer and poorer, not growing.

Now I know that this might seem like a largely negative post, and more like a rant, but I made this due to the fact that I love the concept of the game and hope it can get upgraded so that the player can actually make an impact and a storyline in the game. I enjoyed the first 10 hours into the module, but I've noticed a failure in gameplay to help the player. Hopefully I can come back to this mod in a year or more and see that these major problems are fixed or tweaked. Thanks!
    -Boris

Actually, thank you for your reply about those problems. Indeed, all the lords in mod were martial and I don't know the reason why, but I've already managed to fix that issue. Quests were also tweaked.
For the faction balance, it was meant to be for Moldova to suck and only to distract it's neighbours like Poland. The same is for Prussia. Cossacks really can manage themselves by attacking Ottomans and Tartars - on my experience, Ochakiv and Azov were often captured by the zaporozhians.
And about prosperity. I guess, it's so low due to the quantity of towns on map. We've already added some new towns like Reval and Lviv to fix that problem and, probably, will add some more.

I was just pointed to the mod. I am downloading it now. I look forward to trying it out and seeing this flourish! Keep up the work, devs! :)
